I don't have words. And even if the accusation is not true it doesn't change the fact that roughly 30% of those killed in Gaza were children, a higher percentage than in any previous conflict in the area.

From what I've seen and read, the shift away from support for Israel (at least on the Dem side) seems massive.

A seismic shift is underway. The biggest supporter of Israel, who's contributions have enabled Israel to go ahead with "controversial operations" without any fear of negative consequences, is beginning to question their unconditional support.

A bunch of former high-ranking Israelis (PMs, heads of Mossad, Shin Bet, Judges etc.) are calling out what Israel is doing in the West Bank and Gaza, and threaten legal action against the government for "Jewish terrorism."

About time someone started speaking up in Israel about what's happening.

While what's happening in Israel and the US is very different, there are also obvious parallels. Both countries have unpopular administrations with unpopular and deeply polarizing heads of government heading into elections which very likely will, at the very least, diminish their power.

Both leaders seem unbothered by questions of morality and seem willing to do anything to stay in power, thus avoiding the court cases that await them both.
