50000 illegals on the loose in uk

Featured Replies

Sensationalised, politicalized figure designed to stir up the population.

A fact of life in the modern world is that most western countries will always have a number of undocumented people in the community.

Some estimates from other countries - France 300k+, Germany 1.2 million, Australia 70k, USA 10 million.

Just for you would you like to comment on these figures compared to GB New's complan

Why do i even try with you joe blogs every thread you pick it apart and Patronise, your alway's negative consider yourself blocked.

Oh dear.

You post non attributed rubbish, no links, no sources. I simply do a little bit of research and point out your figures don't add up. The BBC's 9,602 complains you gleefully referred to included more than 5,000 for their coverage of Glastonbury! Complaints against BBC News are quite low.

Of course I'll pick your figures apart if they are wrong, or nonsensical.

And I am negative? You want me to be positive about you twisting figures and not including sources? Should I just let it go and give you a pat on the back or a gold star? I absolutely should pick it apart - if you claim it, back it up when challenged, don't flounce.

That still leaves thousands of complaints against BBC after you take away the Glastonbury

4000 plus vs 1300.

Iv'e done what i should have done Months ago by blocking this Nuisance blaze master, but in one of his post's he stated GB News was an Entertainment Channel. I reminded him the name of the channel say's what they. They are a NEWS CHANNEL. I reminded him the BBC had over 100,000 complaints against just over a thousand from GB News. Of course he waffled on going on about Glastonbury, Doccs , drama complete deflection. The TRIC Awards he tried to bluff away was voted by the UK televistion viewers but he won't accept GB News have won it 4 times on the bang beating all the other NEWS channels. He seem's to think GB News is an Enternainment channel like the beeb. In my opinion he is just a disrupting influence on the Forum and will drive new members away.

More than 50,000 illegal migrants on the loose in Britain after dropping off Home Office radar

Meanwhile, Labour has failed to deport almost 150,000 migrants over outstanding 'human rights' claims

More than 50,000 illegal migrants are believed to have fallen off the Home Office's radar - and are at large on the streets of Britain.

https://www.gbnews.com/news/migrant-crisis-illegal-migrants-missing-home-office-asylum-seekers

If true and they're living outside the system and under the radar, makes you wonder how they survive since they can't claim benefits or rent a room anywhere.

Now express that per viewer. BBC News (that channel 271 in Freeview, not BBC1 etc) has a monthly reach of 8.6 million. GB News has a reach of 3.8 million. So a ratio of 2.774.

https://www.barb.co.uk/monthly-viewing/

Are you claiming all of those 4000 complaints were about BBC News only? If I accept that premisse then the ration is 3.1:1. Sounds a fairly similar rate of complaints, but only if the 4000 complaints were purely about the News service.

Ofcom received 1332 complaints about GB News in 2025

https://www.ofcom.org.uk/siteassets/resources/documents/about-ofcom/foi/2024/june/gb-news-serial-complainants-over-the-last-12-months.pdf?v=361368

BBC complaints

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/bbc-uk-ofcom-complaints-bob-vylan-b2841578.html

Between January and August 2025, the BBC received 9,602 complaints. More than half (52.5%) concerned BBC iPlayer, followed by BBC One (19.6%), BBC Radio 4 (12.6%) and BBC News (8.7%).

But this is for only 8 months of the year, so we need to extrapolate to 12 months, to compare to GB News which represents a full year (also 2025)

So call it 14,402 complaints for the full year, with 8.7% about BBC News. That amounts to 1253 complaints, similar to the number received by GB News, but with 3 times the number of people watching to complain.

Maybe a good decision to block him, as he's been running rings round your arguments!

I was responding to your post blaze master no offence you never took it the wrong way.

Google is your friend. If you don't see a link on a post takes a minute to look for the link. I did when i asked how many complaints the BBC . The figure was over 100 thousand over a year. The most complained news item was from GMTV when Piers Morgan slagged off Prince Harry's missus.

They weren't invited because they were the very best journalists the UK has to offer. They were invited because they agree with Trump and fawn over him. He excluded people who are either critical or impartial (same thing really).

I can't believe anyone thinks that is a sign of the quality of journalism. Oh wait, yes I can.

Putin propaganda trying to divide the UK. Way overblown.

Working in the black economy which is apparently well organised.

Boat migrants have jobs waiting it seems. Every motorbike delivering food in my hometown is driven by a Middle Eastern man with L plates on the bike.

I heard the bikes and insurance are registered to British residents who lend their names and driving licences for a fee.

I would have thought it was illegal to deliver food whilst using L plates.
