We are a mixed (surprise! Asian female / Caucasian male) married couple. We desperately want to have a child but unfortunately the male is infertile. We have decided to use a donor for an IVF procedure and as a mixed couple we want to have a Western / Caucasian donor. However the donor banks here do not seem to have any such donors. We considered international donor banks but our doctor does not recommend it as regards safety etc.

I too was in the same situation but still went through IVF. These days they can extract sperm from the testies and fertilize the eggs this way. My wife and I did this and our daughter is due at the end of November. We have 12 fertilized eggs in frozen storage in BKK, more than we need. If you send me a personal message perhaps I can, hopefully, help you out.

We are a little sensitive about this problem but Yes at the end of the day we are looking for suitable donars.
