really.. go to some no kings protests and try and ask them why they are there, most can't answer you and if you try and talk to them, they just scream at you and call you names if you dont agree with them

This is so true. If you start to push these people on topics, they fall apart really fast.

The American Bald Eagle is at the heart of the Great Seal of the United States.

It was designed by Charles Thomson and Congress set the specification in 1782. There are important heraldic features that carry deep significance for the United States, that are missing from the AI generated image posted by the President. The Great Shield is dripping with symbology

At the centre is the shield of the United States, superficially looking like the flag, but actually only containing 13 stripes for the 13 original colonies. The blue panel is blank, no stars.

This AI eagle has no legs. The legs are important. The Eagle's left leg clutches 13 arrows, and the right leg clutches an olive branch with 13 leaves and 13 olives. The eagle always looks to its right, in the direction of the olive branch. The symbology is that the US prefers peace, it looks to peace, but is always prepared to defend itself (the arrows).

Now there are variations, where the Eagle is clutching something else, eg the Navy eagle clutches an anchor for obvious reasons.

In its beak, the eagle clutches a scroll with the motto E pluribus unum (13 letters) (Out of Many, One). Above the Eagle is a glory, a sort of halo, with 13 stars.

The AI eagle has a sort of arc made up of 11 stars.

The closest would be the Eagle of the Department of Defense Office of the Inspector General, which serves as the principal advisor to the secretary of defense in matters of Department fraud, waste, and abuse. This eagle clutches 13 arrows, but below it is the Roman fasce; a bundle of sticks with an axe, which symbolises punishment.

Why 11 stars? 11 states formed the Confederacy. Joseph had a dream of 11 stars, meaning his brothers. 11 is one less than 12 (tribes of Israel), symbolising transition. 11 is the number of apostles after Judas topped himself. Or maybe no meaning, and its just AI slop.

  2. Trump, both terms, but infinitely worth during the second term.

  3. Harrison

  4. Nixon

Sometimes it feels like Trump and most of his cabinet picks were born in the heart of that swamp, and continue to live there. 14 foot crocodiles. Without an exception.

One of the worst, AND, one of the the BEST influences, along with Reagan, but not in a good way.

Reagan was shot one month after he said he wanted to back the US dollar with gold.

Can't have that -- The Federal Reserve is part of the deep state and they need to control behind the scenes.

Well, I guess Reagan didn't want to continue to put his life at risk just to make your life better.

Presidents who stray too far away from the script of the deep state get shot or maybe threatened first.

I'm surprised Trump is still alive. He is also trying to extricate from the Federal Reserve.

Obama, Biden ... absolute puppets of the deep state.

If you get rid of the deep state for once and for all AND have an intelligent and honorable president, there is your best president of all time. But hasn't happened yet. Their decisions are not entirely their own.

Joe Biden.

I guess what you mean is that people were comfortable enough with their good lives during Biden's term that they could afford to laugh.

Despite his own cognitive decline---though not as bad as Trump, as Joe never claimed to have stopped the 1994 Rwandan Genocide personally---the US enjoyed higher growth, higher employment, much more worldwide respect, and no new wars. Biden also tamed the inflation handed to him by Trump and Trump's $8,400,000,000,000 addition to the National Debt, a 41% increase over the combined debt of the first 44 Presidents, and an amount represented $25,000 for every man, woman and child in the US. MAGAs, ignorant of economics and most everything else, think inflation is a light switch, instantly turned on, rather than resulting from Trump's massive debt run up.

Anyway, Biden got the Trump-generated inflation down to 2.8% by the time he left office, while despite his campaign promises, Trump has lifted inflation back up to 3.4% and climbing.

Of course the entire world does laugh at Trump---his endless lies, his grifting and corruption, his absurd attempt to make himself something---anything---he is not (like White Jeebus, Atlas, sculpted and fit, etc.), his childish temperament and late night rage Tweeting, his endless self-aggrandizement, his supposed 6'3", 225 lb bloated and decaying corpus, and all the manner of silliness and embarrassment Trump has brought to the world's view of America.

Admittedly much of the laughter at Trump is a kind of gallows humor, as Trump and his Carnival People fascist Administration is hellbent on destroying the ideals upon which America was built and toward which successive bodies of the USG have tried to steer the nation. Trump is the epitome of "two steps backward" in terms of the graph of progress, as Trump is clearly against key principles as embodied in the US Constitution (free speech, freedom of the press, the right to peaceful assembly, habeas corpus...even freedom of religion).

Real American patriots take part in the gallows humor, while still working toward defeat of the fascism and autocracy that defines this vile detour of MAGA and Trumpism toward the true American Dream.

Soon, America will have a analogous "Ted Patrick", the famous cult deprogrammer from a few decades ago, to erase the madness of MAGA and try to lead the cult back toward sanity and reality. Sadly, many in the cult are too far gone, and there will be no bringing them back. The best one can hope for is that the most vile of the MAGAs crawl back under the rocks from which Trump called them. America will become America again, reconfirming its belief in the freedoms at its core, of speech, press, assembly, and belief.

Shame on you, if you're proud of all the wars you were fighting and didn't even win, leaving a devastated county behind when you left, after having killed hundreds of thousands innocent women and children all over the world.

UK also has a dark history.

Repressed India with colonial rule, attacked China through Opium wars.

We still need to worry about our own survival and our own countries going down the toilet. We still need to support whatever leader might provide the best conditions in our country.

Most people do not want wars. But there isn't much we can do about foreign policy. They just do what they want.

I liked Ronald Reagan.

Trump is doing what cowardly Presidents and socialist, left wing clowns acting as Prime ministers haven't had the guts to do for decades.

He's calling out the fake immigration, fake charities, terrorism, Iran, a terrorist state exporting terror for decades, whilst all the others have cowed to them and given them what they what emboldening them.

Well done TRUMP, He gets it wrong plenty, but he is tackling the thorny issues, not sweeping them under the table for the next President to do the same.

Civilians unfortunately get caught up in the crosshairs when despotic governments are taken to task.

Not good, but that's WAR.

Well, my post answered @Yagoda. He's American. (not about any other countries)

However, I agree with you, partly only.

When I watch old news movies, thousands of people applauding and encouraging their Leader, shouting "Sieg Heil" and "Ja" when asked demagogicly if you want "Total War", then I'm not sure that everybody wants peace only.

Yes and No.

You think collateral damage is unavoidable ?

Not for me.

Many Civilized countries in EU need the Parliament's agreement for starting a war, not a Grand Dad's one man show.

So, even the leader shows war mongering behaviour the parliament can say NO.

Yeah, you EU guys are always taking the holier than thou moral high ground.

The UK's history is as dark as any country. Oh wait, they're not in the EU anymore.

But the EU's motivations toward Russia may not necessarily be as innocent as you claim and the EU is not necessarily "the good guy" in the Ukraine conflict.

Is Russia Really a Threat to Europe? Debunking Rutte’s claims

Rutte has apparently convinced European leaders that Russia has future aggressive intentions, but his claims have been exposed to little serious scrutiny. There are two pressing questions that need to be asked. Firstly, whether today or at any stage in the foreseeable future, the Russian military has the capability to undertake an attack on a NATO member state? And, secondly, does Russian President Vladimir Putin have a realistic rationale for invading any European country? That is, does Russia have the capacity or strategic interest for such an offensive action?

You missed the point.

From a threat to a war it's a long and winding road.

And, as I said, if the parliament says NO to a war, it will not happen.

The war mongers are on the other side of the Atlantic

who started WW1 and WW2?

also EU countries were a threat to each other before the EU was formed.

most countries are capable of initiating conflict.

african nations have been aggressive toward one another.

the US happens to have a powerful military with military bases around the world and can do more damage than other countries.

it's tragic that there is constant threat of war, but no one seems to have found a solution to this problem.

You missed again the point.

It's not about WW1 or 2, or Asian Opium wars or African genocides. It's just about American Presidents.

We don't want to go back to wars against indigenous people in America, slaughtering or put them into slavery, ordered by your President, do we?

My point, and that's what you don't understand is, that in civilized EU countries the parliament will have the last decision about peace and war. Not an old dead man walking.

Tulsi Gabbard talking about the deep state.

Technically, she is no longer working for Trump.

But still .... deep state used to be only discussed in conspiracy circles.

The fact that elected officials are talking about it more openly seems like progress to me.

Lame false equivalence again. Biden did not cause the 2022 peak in global oil price. Trump did cause the recent peak. 🤣🤣🤣

Really? Rather than risking higher oil prices, better to let Iran produce nukes and start a war no one can win?... which is exactly what would happen under a Democratic president. Be careful what you wish for. The only solution is a 2nd term president with some balls to do what everyone knows has to be done. Unfortunately, American politics, with its 2 parties, is nothing more than a popularity contest, or more accurately, a circus. It's impossible to lead and get anything done with 2 parties split quite closely down the middle.

There is no contest for the worst US president. It's Biden by a country mile. I'm surprised that anyone can take US politics seriously when an elderly president with advanced dementia can become president.

Blah blah. Biden did not cause the peak in global oil prices in 2022. Trump did cause the recent peak in global oil prices. It was a lame false equivalence. 😆

3 Jimmy Carter

4) Grant

5) George H.W. Bush

6) LBJ

I wonder if the Inspector General of the US Defense Department ever got to the bottom of the $2 trillion in missing expenditures announced by Rumsfeld at a news conference the day before 9/11.

Best and worst VP's (top 3) IMO

Best:

Kamala Harris

Joe Biden

Al Gore

Worst:

Dick Cheney

Dan Quayle

JD Vance
