Woodrow Wilson was awful. Federal segregation, suppression of speech. He laid the groundwork for WW2 by supporting reparations imposed on Germany. He also gave us the 17th and 18th Amendments. The 17th undermined the original intent of the Senate, and the 18th gave us Prohibition.

True, as all presidents I've heard about and seen have made mistakes, but he established the Federal Trade Commission, saw the 16th Amendment passed, led the US through World War I, helped workers during strikes won the Nobel Peace Prize through the League of nations and helped the economy at that time.

When it was made it helped. Times change things. It helped with the poor back then. The tax code changed which made things more expensive for the average businessman. Now it helps fund government programs that help the citizens. Medicaid, Medicare, , along with roads and other infrastructure. Edit: Also helped with our Social Security.
