How would compare the expat scene and atmosphere there compared to major Thai cities?

What makes you think there’s even an expat scene there worth comparing? And why would anyone on a Thailand forum care? If you’re that interested, go there yourself and report back.

You’ve got that same creepy stalker style as Raquel. It’s becoming harder to tell you two gals apart anymore.

He does get you to reply to almost every thread and incessantly. Without him you would post much less? I enjoy your posts and am a little jealous of your sense of humor. You two are a good pair - yes?

Hopefully some normal people respond.

Hope will not save you. When nobody responds to your threads, the problem is the topic, not the people. Post a normal one instead.

SR has lots of intern'l food options, more choice than some smaller provincial TH towns.

More overt poverty in SR.

Noise pollution on par with TH.

Overall quality of life is better in TH but easy visa process gives SR and Cambo the advantage going forward.

I wouldn't advise any expats in TH to up sticks just yet though.

siem is cheaper than bkk

less to do

lower quality of expats

very laid back

cheaper transport

what is a "lower" quality expat to you ?

as I see quite a few expats well loaded, all flashy with swanky cars n'condos n'villas but who are utter unreliable scumbags.

ones that stagger down the street doped up, fight with people, overstay.

ones that cant stay in thailand because......

small town, they are visible

Oh look, it's the other Mango Mussolini worshipper. But saying the expats in that rogue state of yours are worse than Thailand comes as no surprise. At the same time, it’s hard to imagine just how bad they must be, because Thailand already has some of the worst I’ve ever come across. I suppose it’s only getting worse now that all those scam call center slave compounds are creeping further inland, away from the Thai border.

Thailand forum????.

Oh another living in the past

This forum is for All South East Asia and thus the advertisers ( your sponsors) reflect that !

Anybody who isn’t skint, dodgy, or spoiled for better options probably wouldn’t choose to live there in the first place. So I don’t think it has anything to do with which Western continent they come from. You’re drawing from the same pool either way.

Then you’ve got some of the worst Chinese organized crime networks in the region adding to the entertainment. Considering that such a large share of Cambodia’s economy is tied to illicit activity, it’s hardly surprising that those kinds of trash are made to feel right at home.

Sort of. I self ban myself from going to all outhouse hole countries. It's a pretty long list. Quite a few Western countries on there too. Was actually a tough call putting Khamen on the list, though, knowing that you are there and it means I can't come visit you. 😭😢

got it. lucky for you, banned lol

I managed to last 3 days in SR then bored, had to move. Shadyest of the shady go to Cambodia, a proportion head to SR

It was stupid the first time you said it. But saying the same stupid thing twice doesn't make it any less stupid.

I was in that SH country once when it was still all dirt roads in SR. An absolute turlet that needs to be flushed.

got it. when they flushed, you spewed out. they have been getting better at getting out the riff raff

still are many dirt roads btw. its not a big nor modern place. sort of like a sleepy phitsanalok with ruins.

Your trolling game is pretty desperate. Even worse than Raquel's. Hard to imagine that's even possible.

I imagine it was actually better back in the day when I was there. And back then it was already a very forgettable place.

Depends what you want, if you're a boozer SR has very cheap bars.

Very popular with Israeli backpackers after they finish their national service.

Plenty of friendly attractive women.

Very similar atmosphere to Chiang Mai (but with less smog)

I always stayed at Garden Village GH and pool bar.
