An interesting aspect of this research is that 20.3% of respondents identifying as right of center think it's justified to kill Trump! 😂

The fact that they summed all replies from 2 to 7 on the Likert scale (which is unusual) probably leads to overestimating this pattern.

Why is this being treated as an assassination attempt? No shots were fired at Trump. Surely it's just another example of 'wild west' America and their ridiculous gun laws. Maybe the gun-man was just trying to shoot up the event and the media?
