Ok, let's go through these one after another.

  1. Newsom: Status quo mainstream candidate and the rest of the country doesn't want to look like CA, except for the weather in SC.

  2. Harris: Hilariously inept as we found out the first time. Begone, loser.

  3. Whitmer: Fantastic!

  4. Buttigieg: Transportation Sec. par inexcellence, mealy-mouthed, and, I'll just come out and say it, USA isn't ready yet for a gay candidate.

  5. Shapiro: AIPAC? No.

  6. Beshear: Never heard of him.

  7. Forgot, AOC: Telegenic but lacks gravitas. Can be a forceful leader in the House, a younger Pelosi, and visit the WH with cameras in tow. But live there? No.

The Dems should've put up Whitmer in '24 after a quickie primary but they never mustered the balls. And here we are with a 100-year-old adolescent f*** up in the WH.

Agree Whitmer is very good but she's a woman (two recent losses) and has a conventional resume.

I think the odds are more towards a populist from the Ds now.

Also for some reason I don't see her as inspiring the passions and that's needed as presidential elections are more about emotions than policies.

Maybe I'm wrong.

I would be a little surprised if she even runs.

Kelly is getting a lot of attention. Boring but he could win.

Wouldn't rule out Beshear. Name recognition can be increased.

My pick JB is more of a dark horse but more and more pundits are noticing him.

He's lost a lot of weight. Proof he is running.

I don't think putting American interests first over Israeli is being anti-Israel per se.

Well as he's a Jew in the current political climate he would have no chance being very pro Zionist. Shapiro is a brilliant and would make a great president, but he's way too Jewy for these times.

What about Cole Tomas Allen? Do we think Judge McFadden can have him acquitted in time for the primary? He'd be a great VP pick for Whitmer.

Not old enough ya joker.

I didn't think Whitmer had the x factor charisma, but looked this up and she is considered to have charisma. So maybe I just haven't seen enough of her.

Is Harris not considered to have charisma?

You don't have to look it up. Here you go:

Please please please dear Lord, show her the road to the White House.

I would vote for her in a primary

She won't be anywhere near the top of the list.

I'm not for AOC but I'm open minded. Remember very few people thought someone as outlandish as Trump had a chance. In politics you never know.

Don't underestimate the power of the

female ' grab pussy ' vote.

It got him through the first time !

AOC stands out as the most qualified candidate for the presidency. I confidently rank the top contenders as follows: 1) AOC, 2) Kamala Harris, and 3) Hillary Clinton. With her innovative ideas and dedication to social justice, AOC is poised to lead our nation effectively.

I could not agree more. An all female choice shows true diversity. Great choices Nick.

Well I was going to say something like that. There will literally be an after Trump as he's mortal. But it is a very open question whether there will be future real elections in 2028 or even 2026. Russian has elections. They aren't real. Trump has made a lot of "progress" moving the USA to be more like Putin's Russia.

Ridiculous. If anything Trump is pushing for more accountable elections by getting rid of the insane mail in voting system (excluding specific circumstances) and having the poll on a single day with written ballots. IMO voting day MUST be a public holiday.

If she runs, I look forward to hearing her campaign pitch. She is a very charismatic and skilled politician. I wouldn't discount her as a sure thing loser (so a maga fascist dream) quite yet.

She's a word salad moron the same as Harris. Vance or Rubio will tear her to shreds in any debate. Still last election just under half of the voters voted for a cackling idiot so anything is possible.

AOC's not hard to look at. But listening to her is pretty brutal.

I'm not sure the Dems can pull off another plandemic where she can campaign from a basement without saying anything, and then the results swap in the wee hours from mysterious mail in ballots.

If history is any indication, her pitch will be "I'm not Trump" and "free stuff and money." But that didn't work for Kamala, either.

AOC is better looking, has less baggage, has actually worked in the private sector and speaks better.

Just because she's a leftist, does not mean she's stupid. She does not need intellect; she will never get asked difficult questions. All she has to do is regurgitate the rhetoric.

She has a great job and millions of leftists that worship her. A female Bernie Sanders as it were, don't sell her short.

She is polling ahead of JD Vance in 2028 Presidential race. Not bad for a doorknob.

I hope she runs she'd be worse than that drunk DEI Harris. 😃

If the Democrats choose in 2028 an illiberal so-called "progressive", promoting the same tired, woke policies and viewpoints that got Trump elected for a second term, well, then they just deserve to lose. They'd be beyond saving.

Yes, Trump is a dictator that will refuse to leave office. Meanwhile, he can't get the Court or Congress to vote with him, he can't stop protests, and he can't even get Jimmy Kimmel fired.

But sure, he's going to stay in office.

I would say wait for her actual campaign message first before jumping to conclusions about what she is. Politicians often evolve -- sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worst. That said, she will be a populist. But so what? I think if there is a real presidential election in 28 the majority demand will be for some kind of populist, on either side.

Even if Trump is in for life, have you seen him lately? He's a mental and physical wreck.

So Trump the man is finite. Fascism isn't. The bigger question is has the maga fascist Trump regime transformed American "democracy" to the point where there will no longer be real elections. The Putinization process of the USA is a fact but we don't know yet just how bad the damage is as far as future elections.
