Brooke George from Gravesend said "God has a plan. Trust it, Live it, Enjoy it."

I expect her own admission of looking through files on her victim’s computer might be a clue in this ‘increasingly controlling and abusive’ relationship.

That aged like 7 day old milk left on the doorstep on a hot summers day.

Hmm, he was from Kent, she was from Kent. Met online while he was taking an extended holiday, while awaiting his day in court over a £80k coke deal, and his suspended sentence for beating up a couple had just expired.

I didn't know suspected drug dealers were allowed to go on holiday. Must have had a good brief not to be on remand.

Indeed, as a white woman in a muslim country to avoid jail she really needed to accept her beating like a champ, and then subjugate herself to a lifetime of slavery with her new master who would now have full control of her passport and her life.

This is why western women need a proper education on the dangers of going to an islamic country, the dangers of entering a relationship with a muslim from an islamic country, and their lack of right to defend themselves against a beating from her islamic master. She is now getting that education, albeit at the cost of her life, either in jail or by execution.

We have here side of the story.

Who knows, maybe her victim tried to fight off his attacker.

You might spin an alternative drama out of that possibility, though perhaps struggle to turn it into a diatribe against anyone is not white or worse still a Muslim.

You intimate that her account of being attacked was made up. The victim had a track record as a vicious and drug dealer. Given his FB includes a photo of his Rolls Royce Cullinan, I dare say the County Lines drugs bust he was caught up in was tip of the iceberg. County Lines isn't some tiny bit of Charlie in the pub carpark. It means proper transnational organised crime.

You complain about anti-Muslim bias on the forum but the moment you saw the word "Influencer", you made assumptions. I saw the victim's name, made assumptions, which when I checked, seemed to confirm my assumptions.

Coked up, drunk drug dealer from a violent gangster traveller family, convictions for assault. Girlfriend found hardcore porn on his laptop, he beat her up. Fits the profile.

Nevertheless, we only have one side of the story.

The influencer did not influence my response.

And utterly savage nation disguised as civilized, and highly regarded simply due to its prosperity. Yikes.

After several visits there to see my sons who are musicians, I absolutely hate the place. Just concrete towers, wide congested roads, way way overpriced food & drinks, rents etc.

My younger one has just moved to a contract in Cyprus and his message this morning said how much more friendly than people are, and how less expensive it is.

OK, my elder one is settled there as his wife is a teacher earning good money, but it is still a <deleted> h0le in places.

They put up a tower block four stories a week, now almost 30 high. Would you live in it?

I agree, but obviously some folks find it attractive, whether a tax free income or something else.

The problem is it's like living in a bubble, you step outside of it and it can burst!

The usual AN Muslim haters were fighting for pole position to get their kicks in on the deceased for control and abusing white girls “as is their way”.

Well guys, after you’ve wiped the egg from your smug faces now you find that it’s a white guy who was controlling and abusing: wotcha gotta say?

As for Dubai, I’d say that anyone wanting to live in a place that’s frequented by the likes of Richard Tice and his Torygraph hack squeeze, Jim Davidson, Rio Ferdinand, Farridge, Tommy (sorebottom) Robinson and other far right traitors should stay in their Sharia law controlled “paradise “.

BTW, I, in no way support Islam or indeed any religion.

Young idiots need to do their homework before getting on a plane to a foreign country to meet a person they don't know. It's a jungle out there and Mummy & Daddy can't save you.

Well this will make all those topless clan influencers from Europe, UK, US and other western nations to think twice, before showing their new butox-cum-silicone jobs on social media, live from DXB or other gulf nations that do remain islamic run states, no matter all the glitter aroung due to their oil money and the open slavery of their imported workers who are paid wages close to modern day slavery by civilised standards.

But if europe took in cheap labour from the east or from the poor south american nationa and paid them like the gulf nations are doing !!!,,,,,, the UN and other humain right wokes and trouble makers, would have made an uproar. But when it's done in the Gulf nations and those workers live almost like imprisonned slaves...nobody be it from UN, Humain rights or what so ever, to make an uproar. No wonder Trump, that I do not like any more, want to cut of the funding of the UN mess.

Coerced for sure, perp most likely local

Super sad...............

You appear to be assuming that she is innocent which is not really a good thing. Trouble is many people go to places like Dubai and expect they can get away with anything on the basis they are a tourist. They cant.

And you are assuming she planned this! which is doubtful!! when you go to another country you don't expect to be punched in the face and assaulted

No, it's not!

In almost every countries legal system, around the world, killing someone in legitimate self defense, is not classified as murder!

Murder requires malice aforethought—the unlawful, intentional killing of a human being without legal justification. Self-defense is what the law calls a justification defense. If proven, it completely negates the "unlawful" element of the act, meaning no crime was committed.coffee1

What you stated is correct BUT this was manslaughter! Excessive Force: If you used more force than was reasonably necessary to protect yourself (e.g., using a deadly weapon against an unarmed attacker), the justification may be voided, potentially leading to a manslaughter charge.

All immaterial with the case at hand. The Emirati's will want to move this on ASAP

The UAE does not have an offence of Manslaughter. Legitimate self-defence is a complete legal defence. If the court finds that the killing was legally justified, the defendant should not be criminally liable for homicide at all.

As it stands:

  1. She claims to have been attacked and acted in self defence when he became drunk.

  2. The deceased was a drug dealer with a history of violence, and likely living off immoral earnings in the UAE. I would bet they will find stimulants and/or other drugs in his blood.

It might not even come to a trial. There are no juries.

United Arab Emirates recognizes the offence of manslaughter, penalizing it under the UAE Penal Code (Federal Decree-Law No. 31 of 2021)

She is charged with premeditated murder not self-defense nor manslaughter

legitimate self-defense is a complete legal defense in the United Arab Emirates, but only when specific, strict conditions are met. The UAE Penal Code (Federal Decree-Law No. 31 of 2021) completely absolves an individual of both criminal and civil liability if their actions fall within the legal parameters of self-defense.

Key Conditions for Legitimate Self-Defense

To successfully use this defense, all of the following requirements must be proven:

  • Imminent and Unlawful Threat: The danger to yourself, others, or your property must be real, illegal, and immediate.

  • No Reasonable Alternative: You must have had no other way to avoid or escape the danger (e.g., escaping or contacting the authorities).

  • Strict Proportionality: The defensive force used must be strictly necessary to stop the attack and proportionate to the level of the threat

Knife against fist is not proportionate

There is also blood money to be considered

do they blindfold you?

it's fairly quick and painless, I imagine?

a bunch of bullets should take you down in less than 2 seconds?

some electric chairs have malfunctioned, leading to excrutiating pain

Yes, agreed, extremely doubtful she will face a firing squad, but facing even a few years in a Dubai prison is not going to be pleasant.

Being stabbed 17+ times neither

Planning no but if she did pick up a knife then I doubt if it was just to cut some cheese. Her intention was to do physical harm or murder as it appears in this case.

She is charged with premeditated murder

there must be more to this as she should have just been charged with this

Voluntary Manslaughter (Intentional but without Premeditation): Killing another person in the heat of the moment or during intense provocation, rather than with prior planning.

  • Standard penalty: Imprisonment ranging from 3 years up to a life sentence, depending on the discretion of the court and mitigating circumstances.

I am pretty sure they wouldn't be going down that route if they had nothing to support it

yes there is more to this than what has been reported

Why is it that when a foreigner is caught committing a crime in the Middle East people here always assume that they are victims of a police state? I have lived and worked in the Middle East for around 16 years and never had a problem with the police. I did have one help far more than I expected at one time but nothing else.

The thing is the Middle East has laws that they enforce, unlike many Western countries.
