Featured Replies

This is a turnip for the books it's usually the indians that get done over by the ladyboys. It must have been his trendy frameless sunglasses that attracted them.

"Turnip" for the books! I love it!

taking one of these high risk sex workers to your room is high risk. Taking two blokes on is asking for trouble. That's what you got.

Hope the wife back home dos'nt read the pattaya news.

A friend of mine ran a website for many years and refused to allow any comments, knowing that most would be abusive and irrelevant, and contain comments from people who were unable to read/comprehend/bother to properly read what they were commenting about.

This thread is a great example of why he was right to do so. Ironically, those posting such comments no doubt imagine they are better than the victim they comment about, when those comments indicate the opposite.

The victim's name and ethnicity is irrelevant
Sweden is a different country to Switzerland
The victim was not carrying large amounts of cash
The victim's religion is not relevant in any way

Very well said.

Silly Ladyboys. Gold-chain-stealing and cash-grabs are crimes reserved for Indian tourists 🙄

Well, it's hard to sympathize much with Mahmoud, but the racism of pathetic commentators above makes me want to wish him well.

My inclination too- he made a silly decision and suffered- but the inherent racism of some posts is really rather ugly, sadly predictable and thus is somewhat depressing really

How is he gonna prove they opened the safe and stole all his cash, other than fingerprints on the tiny safe key.

This guy gets no sympathy from me especially inviting 2 Ladyboys back to his room

You would have thought ladyboys and Pattayas reputation would proceed it

People never learn

Likely a retiree living in this "condotel" - using a safe with a key.

Steady on , no need to go that far….!

"Turnip"? No, swede - getting your root vegetables mixed up…

I don’t understand why people carry paper money. I carry a small mount for tips and making merit, but gotta be someone who doesn’t have a lot of wits about them, or up to something sketchy to use paper currency.

Yes, no paper money only coins, especially the ever popular .25 baht ones.

No need to carry it these days, but good to have a stash of it in addition to electronic version..............

Mahmoud — yes, today probably a Swedish name — should be little quiet about his intentions; after Swedish law any involvement with sex workers is prohibited, even for Swedes when abroad...whistling

«The Swedish law on the purchase of sex also applies to acts committed outside Sweden's borders. This means that a Swede can be prosecuted in Sweden for purchasing sex in a country where it is otherwise legal (e.g. Denmark or Germany). Violation of the law on the purchase of sexual services is punishable by a fine or imprisonment for up to one year. From July 2025, the law has been extended to also cover the purchase of sexual services online, including on platforms such as OnlyFans, regardless of where in the world the provider is located.»

The law must have changed...... when I stayed at Silver Sand bungalows in Chaweng in '91, I will never forget the 2 Swedish kickboxers who appeared to be puchasing more sex than the rest of us put together........!

Mahmoud sweedish - seems muslims love ladyboys - not judging

They most definitely do.

Many Thai ladyboys go to Dubai. They have to defeminize to get in, they have to travel in boy mode or immigration will reject them. But once in the UAE, they go back to girl mode and make a killing selling their services to rich Emiratis who justify their homosexuality because their partner is wearing a dress.

There are ladyboy massage parlors in Dubai.

I have seen hotel room safes that require number combinations, not something that can be lost or seized. But a hotel that uses a key for the room safe that can be misplaced or lost is odd.

it would be odd nowadays although 30+ years ago I remember many hotels did not have safes in the rooms, if there were safes available they were generally at reception, looked like a large filing cabinet with lots of small lockable drawers , If I remember correctly, each draw needed two keys to open it, one which was given to the customer and one retained by the hotel to at least give the illusion of security, although obviously the hotel kept copies of all keys.

Yes, the law is relative new — in this case "reletive" is the 1st January 1999 — the two Swedish kickboxers' extra bed-exercise rehearsals in Silver Sand on Chaweng Beach might have helped their home country's politians to eestablish that law...thumbsup

Good take............I'm surprised they even need that law, Swedish and Danish women are often very pretty in my books and in the past (it's been a while!) were always very open in regards to sex.............

Another one who can't read, he was not carrying 100,000 baht cash, the stolen cash was locked in his safe in his room.

…..and he let them know where the key was.

Which in itself is strange as every hotel room safe I have known has a combination not a key. But there you go. Another careful tourist gets out witted by those cunning lady boys.

On the bright side he saved all those pesky ATM fees by carrying cash.

Please: Denmark and Sweden are not same-same, they are different — even becoming more and more different — so, now they are actually quite different...whistling

I love Switzerland, especially its capital Stockholm.😇

Since when do hotel safes have keys?

Well, he was looking to get ''shafted'' by 2 LB (I guess that one LB wasn't enough because 2 LBs are twice the fun)

and at the end, he did got shafted, but the kind ''shafting'' he was hoping for.
