End of, no debate and it doesn't matter how many elections he wins the rules remain the same unless Parliament wills it. Do you understand these basics ? 1. The only statutory oath or affirmation required before an MP can sit and vote is the Oath (or Affirmation) of Allegiance to the Crown.

2. Once sworn in, every MP is automatically subject to the Standing Orders of the House of Commons, the rulings of the Speaker, parliamentary privilege, and the House's Code of Conduct. They do not have to separately consent to these rules.

And most of all Reform is just a bad joke at which no one is laughing any more. A bunch of pub bore amateurs want to run the country - no thanks.

Another day another 1/2 million pound bung from posh George's mother this time. Farage was always banging on about democratic accountability - well here it is - in spades.

The donations appear to be separate to a deposit of about £1m that Fiona Cottrell made in June 2024 to a company run by Richard Tice, Reform’s deputy leader. This week, the Guardian revealed that the transfer to Tice’s company, Britain Means Business, was reported to the National Crime Agency by bankers.

According to financial industry sources, bankers and the NCA have been unable to trace the origin of £1m given to Britain Means Business, £500,000 of which was moved into Reform’s coffers weeks in advance of the general election.

I assume the problem is the donations have not been declared, and/or the fact a proxy is being used for whatever reason......(and possibly dodgy)

It would be beautifully ironic if Farage were to be responsible for uniting the nation .........but not in the way he intended.

The situation really isn't the joke, or political irresponsibility by other parties, that it is made out to be.
