Let me quote a rich Jewish person from New York City...

If they [native Americans or Palestinians for that matter] were so smart, why are they not successful and rich [like us] ? 😄

Well, at least Jews overseas are getting the message when enough is too much! Window is in a Jewish apartment in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

All land has been invaded or “stolen” as you like. Maybe you would be happier with the consequence if the Chinese invaded the Americas.

Maybe the question is less the "if" and more the "how". The USA, supposedly "land of the free" has been built on genocide, including the most brutal massacres against women and children. Add slavery

You mean, other than a few dozen tribes (not just in the USA), the Democrats (in the USA), professional race baiters and the UN, don't you?

Around the world, calls for reparatory justice have been growing. Some States, universities, religious groups and businesses that profited —or continue to profit— from legacies of enslavement and colonialism have started to act.

Delivering reparatory justice is more urgent than ever. And human rights offer a powerful framework to move forward.

To help unpack this issue, UN Human Rights has created a series of explainers based on United Nations reports.

https://www.ohchr.org/en/documents/tools-and-resources/reparatory-justice-africans-and-people-african-descent-series

Reparations do not only mean money. Reparations can be in the form of political and diplomatic recognation, equal employment and educational opportunities.

What's crucial is that institutions of all kinds, governmental, educational, corporate do not profit by their current investments in slavery, genocide, ethnic cleansing and war. That means, for example, divestment from companies that produce weapons.

The basic problem that without a writing system on mud tablets you can't establish ownership of property and must get the consensus of your neighborhood in order to transfer ownership of your land.

Native Americans never "owned" their land as the concept was unworkable in an oral language system.

Writing symbols in the mud enabled property rights, ownership and totalitarian governments and kingdoms.

The natives didn't really have kingdoms only networks of independent entities more or less.

Uh-uh, nothing to do with oral traditions. In one sense, tribes did "own" their land but it would be more accurate to describe it as tribal range. And there were inter-tribal wars for incursions, theft, slavery, rape, murder. Tribes did have diplomatic relations and well as conflicts. Native languages were mutually unintelligible, leading to the development of pidgin. And there were traitors, too. Those who enabled Whites to steal land or cheat.

I have not disagreed with your argument that other nations have acted immoral to a high degree; Germany has quite a prominent porsition ther eitself, adn as we all learn in school about it, I certainly have self-reflected a lot about it.

However, your argument is, as other nations have acted thus, the USA is free of blame. It is not.

You asking me to research your argument is just a deflection. Own up to what your coutnry did, fullstop, instead of pointing the finger in every direction but yours. The USA, self-proclaimed "policeman of the world" is still acting atriciously, killing women and children als collateral damage in their imperial wars by the tens of thousands -- it is happening right now, today!

As to your really weak assertion "The US has never been found guilty of genocide". So you ask for an international jury to look into that. Really? You kind of would be the first American to ask for an international court...

Reflect on the weak argument you brought or don't -- I can lead a horse to water, but cannot make it drink. But as you are a "scholar of history", it will give you a start:

Discussions about the United States and genocide generally fall into three main categories: the historical treatment of Indigenous peoples, domestic racial violence, and foreign policy.

1. Genocide of Indigenous Peoples
When European settlers arrived, an estimated 10 million Native Americans lived in the Americas. By 1900, that number fell to under 300,000. This drastic drop was caused by forced removals like the Trail of Tears, deadly conflicts, and federal policies aimed at destroying Native culture. The Holocaust Museum Houston details how violence and forced assimilation laws fueled this tragedy.

2. Domestic Oppression
Organizations like Genocide Watch point to historical and systemic abuses against Black Americans—such as mass incarceration and police violence—as forms of state-sponsored discrimination and dehumanization.

3. Foreign Policy and Complicity
Under U.S. Law, genocide is a serious federal crime. The U.S. government has historically made official genocide declarations against atrocities in other countries, such as in Sudan or against ISIS. However, international activists have also filed complaints alleging U.S. complicity in recent conflicts due to weapons transfers and diplomatic support. The Council on Foreign Relations explains the legal meaning and global impacts of these genocide labels.

Never said the US was free of blame in wrongdoings. Talking about the past for any country isn't helping. All countries have done very atrocious things, many to their own citizens, and it continues to this day. The US isn't killing innocents by the tens of thousands today. Myanmar and some African nations, along with Iran is killing thousands of innocents. I didn't ask for a court to decide what America's politics has done. It's already out there.

Again, if you're going to concentrate on the past, look to your own country, and see if they're innocent, as many countries have done those bad things, to their own people and others, to take over land. No land was owned by anyone in the beginning, so back then people decided to take it over, and mostly by killing. Not many are exempt. The US hasn't taken over any countries lately, nor has anyone else. You don't have to post anything about what America has done, as we all knew it when it happened, along with learning it's past history in schools.

The main thing to remember, is that it's not a nation that's responsible for atrocities but a select group.

How refreshing to hear a voice of reason in the wilderness of delusion. It's always surprising to me how unwilling the average white man is willing to take responsibility for history.

Over the years America has done a lot of good in the world but the three blights that will forever remain are its maltreatment of the Native Americans, the Mexicans and the Black race. And that racism continues to this day especially with hate mongers like the current so-called leader, and his band of creeps.

"Add slavery with all it entails to it, making the USA one of the most bestial countries on earth." The "entails" are living in South Chicago and have created a real hell on earth. Abraham Lincoln had a solution for the "entails" but it did not come to fruition and it changed the U.S for the worst.

As I said, if your only counter-argument is whataboutism, then you have no argument. It seems, you are unable to evolve from this primitive, immoral stance.

It is not moral to say, that -- because others behave badly -- that this gives you the right to behave as bad or even worse.

But then I would have wondered if you would have been able to come up with something more intelligent. Ypou ar esimply the product of decades of brainwashing, thinking the USA is the opposite of what it is, a terror state built on hurting its own citizens and the planet.

Normally it is the guilty who engage in whataboutism. As you so aptly demonstrate.

You have no moral standing to lecture US citizens about anything. Your country has inflicted more suffering on the world than any other country. Take a cup of STFU.

Land stealing and grabbing has been going on in the West Bank and around since 1950 with America and Europe closing their eyes to all the war crimes.

In America by being white you're looked at completely differently by the judicial system. You won't be profiled by police, you will be pulled over significantly less often by them, and if you do stand before a judge for committing a crime the chances of you serving time for it are infinitely less. You can argue with that all you want but those are simply facts.

I asked what law gives me more rights because I'm white. You didn't name one because there isn't one.

The law is supposed to apply equally to everyone regardless of race.

Now, if a police officer, prosecutor, judge or even a store employee treats someone differently because of their race, that's racism. I don't care if the person is Black, white, Asian or Hispanic. It's wrong.

The same goes for sentencing. If a judge gives a lighter sentence because of someone's race, that's wrong. If a judge gives a harsher sentence because of someone's race, that's wrong too.

The answer isn't more race-based treatment. The answer is enforcing the law equally for everyone.

So if property is theft, who exactly did I steal my house from? The guy I bought it from? He bought it legally too. Where does it end?

And how is a property owner "stealing" from workers? The owner put up the money took the risk pays the mortgage, taxes, insurance and maintenance and could lose everything if the business fails. The employee agreed to work for an agreed wage. That's called a voluntary agreement, not theft.

If owning property is theft, then is everyone with a house a retirement account or a 401(k) a thief too?

What do we think of when we think of land stolen from Indogenes. Not only Palestinians.

We need to implement strict border control for all countries that are not predominantly white.

Think of reparations like creating the state of Israel.

We'll just end up working at Indian casinos (like the Palestinians workers at kibbutz) while they destroy our neighborhoods for "resisting" 😂

Of course it is and of course what you're saying is true, but I'm talking about the difference between the real world and Utopia. I have many black friends and know alot of people of color, and I see how they're treated by law enforcement and society in general. And it's not even close to the same way that we are treated as white men.

I used to take pride in the fact that America was a Melting Pot and that people were fairly accepting of others who were different than them. But ever since Trump's first term all of that seems to have changed, as the racist goon has given permission to his supporters to express division, hatred and racism.

Can we also have a map showing the island now comprising England, Scotland and Wales as it was when 'inhabited and stewarded by natives' before those evil Romans invaded, and then before those evil Danes invaded, and then before those evil Normans invaded.

If we ever get around to paying reparations to all the colonial countries who are claiming we owe TRILLIONS to, I would suggest the British people move from the UK to any other country of their choice, A.S.A.P as the UK just will not be worth saving. The ICJ have the UK in hock to the tune of multi billions over Diego Garcia. They are also intent on banning the UK from extracting our own oil and gas. The MORON Siliband as climate secretary, is spending cash as if it is going out of fashion. He is attempting to clear the world of excess Carbon Dioxide to save the planet. The present government have been given shovels to dig a hole to sink the country into, and have now put in for mechanical diggers to take over the job. It has to be finished by 2029. If there is anything left, it will be passed to the EU to complete the job. They can then fish the North Sea to their hearts content with no restrictions.

Have I missed anything!?

Yes they do and it would be nice if the people and Hamas in Palestine stopped trying to remove Israel from the world. If any country attacks another country then they can expect repercussions as a result.

Australia was occupied by Stone Age nomadic people. 4000 years after the European Bronze Age, 3000 years after the iron age. Being colonized is always bad short term but was always going to happen to modernize it. If it wasn’t the Brits, the French or Dutch who had landed here would have done it. It’s just progress. You never hear Brits complain about the Roman, Anglo Saxon, Viking or Norman invasion of their island and the subjugation of its population!

the organized, often violent attempt by a particular cultural or racial group to completely remove from a country or area all members of a different group. Unquestionably, West Bank colonists.

You're right. We should only consider recent of current genocides. The past is past--for everybody! Including such horrors as the Holocaust!

If not, does every Armenian or every First Nation or every Aboriginal bring genocide to the table? Which is why I'm so damned tired of the poor-me Holocaust story. 84 years in history. Right--never again.

We can now concern ourselves with Darfurians, Yazidis, Rohingya, Tutsis and Bosnians. The thread that connects them is that these genocides are all against Muslims. I had never considered it that way before.

Any takers?

"We can now concern ourselves with Darfurians, Yazidis, Rohingya, Tutsis and Bosnians. The thread that connects them is that these genocides are all against Muslims. I had never considered it that way before"

The Yazidi are not Muslim: they are being oppressed by Muslims (ISIS)

The Tutsi are not Muslim: they are largely Christian/animist (as are the Hutu)

The conflict in Darfur was/is Muslim vs Muslim.

So yeah, these genocides are all against Muslims, not.
