Not sure why people think reparations don't happen or should not happen. In a 1980 Supreme Court case, United States v. Sioux Nation of Indians, the court ruled that tribal lands covered under the treaty had been taken illegally by the US government, and the tribe was owed compensation plus interest. As of 2018 this amounted to more than $1 billion. Not paid but legally owed.

By the way, anyone who wants to get a taste for how indians were treated should watch the movie Soldier Blue. The final 20 minutes or so depicts the Sand Creek Massacre. Requires a strong stomach.

“Person of colour” can be used to refer to someone who is Black, Black Caribbean, Black British, African, African American, etc.

Racists were around long before Trump, and they'll still be around long after he's gone.

If someone is a racist, that's on them, not Trump.
