Choosing a seat pre-flight only confirms your seat , it does not guarantee that, at final boarding, someone will not be sitting next to you (in economy anyway).

Then you may have the toilets behind you, with people constantly queuing beside your seat. It depends on the aircraft layout.

I truly hate people who play games on the touchscreen, or still have not figured out how to use one and try to push their fingers through it. Then there are those who put their feet in the seat pocket or keep their knees pressed into the back of your seat. If I only flew once a year, I probably would not care, but when you fly often, it becomes extremely annoying. I prefer the upper deck, where there are fewer seats, and on some planes the toilets are larger.

I cannot say that I fly to engage with others. In Business Class, one simply slides the door shut for privacy.

So what disturbed you in BA Club World?

No sliding doors on the older planes that was for sure.

I never liked the cabin crew on BA flights, many thought they were doing us the favour by attending to us.

If I want to, I can. But I'd rather spend wisely, since I probably have a few more decades left than the average person here. I want to make sure I make it all the way with money still in the bank.

If I fly business class on every trip, that could easily cost the same as an entire year’s budget in Isaan.

I saw that as a major fly in the ointment......but it never came to be.......never had anyone queuing.

Not sure what is happening on the upper deck (yes, definitely better)...........I think they closed it for the flights we have been on recently and prior to that on one flight it seem to been have been classed as almost business???
