This is the kind of absurd list from people who have no idea that all these items cost money. Currently, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and other income support programs are a huge burden on the country. Yet, these misguided individuals want to increase that burden.

As the population ages, these programs gradually consume the entire government budget. France, Germany, and the UK are experiencing this issue. The Western governments are jeopardizing their future with generous social programs, leaving younger generations to face the consequences.

Yes. So you have to compromise and try to meet conflicting goals by clever design and weaving your way more or less skilfully down the middle, modifying your aims and your outcomes with experience and changing environments. Just about all 'Western' countries other than Usofa have been pursuing such policies and compromises since at least 1946.

I did, and I wasn't even rich. BUT, had more than enough, as they all do already. Take away their desire to produce, and they'll do the same as me, liquidate & leave, or stay. But no longer produce, buy / sell, employ, get taxed, just chill and enjoy.

They don't produce, less taxes. They don't employ, less taxes, and less income to spend, and yea, less buyers = less taxes.

Many right now, are getting only 50-60 cents on every dollar earned. 37% fed tax + state income tax. (up to 12+). How long do you think they'll tolerate that, along with increases in the future.

How's that sound for a salary, will give you $50 an hour, but you can only take home $25 an hour.

Or better, I have an investment for you, you put up all the money, and for every $1 you make we'll give you $.50 cents back, if you make money. If you lose, well, you get nothing, along with losing your investment.

That's today. Next year we're changing the tax code, and you can no longer keep anything after your first million. Because half the earners, no long want to pay 3 or 4%. They are now the voting majority.

So keep up the good work, they appreciate it.

Sooner or later, you WILL run out of other people's money.
