  • The daughter is an adult child and the son is almost an adult, so quite shaming the mother. I pray that they are okay and just did something dumb like many of us did as young adults.

Mother trusts 22 year old daughter with the nearly adult son to go to the 7-11 or whatever for snacks. So what if it's 4am. Maybe they were up late getting a buzz. Nothing whatsoever wrong with that,

Wow, crazy. Like you said that took a lot of work. Looks like they stripped most of the parts off the frame.

The picture of the (presumably) showroom model you've posted is a 160cc. So I don't quite understand what point you're trying to prove.

But it's irrelevant anyway now that the police have found the wreckage.

The question isn't (considering their age) if the mother should have allowed them to go to a convenience store at 4am, but if that was unusual for them or something they've done on a regular basis.

I hope they'll return safely, in any case.

Police Seek Man for Information in Missing Russians Case

I hope both are found alive and well.

This is a weird situation, but these are just youngsters. I also hope they haven't been mixing with the wrong crowd.

For them to leave home together and travel a distance, this isn't a popping-to-the-shop scenario.

Police have discovered the buried motorcycle belonging to two Russians who mysteriously disappeared in Chonburi province, prompting a major search operation and an escalating investigation. The bike was found concealed beneath the ground in a wooded area of Na Jomtien, close to the motorway, raising fresh concerns over the fate of the missing pair.

IMG_8591.jpeg

Officers investigating the disappearance located the motorcycle after searching the forested area on the morni g of Wednesday 29 July 2026. The discovery has led police to treat the site as a key crime scene, with forensic teams to examine the vehicle and surrounding area for evidence. The unusual attempt to hide the motorcycle by burying it has intensified suspicions that the two may have been victims of a serious crime.

Authorities have requested additional police officers to reinforce the operation and have sealed off the area while the investigation continues. Search teams are conducting further inspections of the surrounding woodland as detectives work to establish what happened to the two Russian nationals. Police have yet to release further details and say the investigation remains ongoing.

This looks very fishy.

This story has the ear marks with all the twists and turns to be made into a movie?....

Yes there is more than meets the eye on this story

Realistically who goes to a convenience store at this time in the morning

That could wait until later in the morning

Perhaps she was going to meet a client.

Bad feeling about this.

Sorry if your incredibly thin skin causes you to take offense quite often. I am just simply speculating and offering an opinion. Those of us that have thick skin are not offended by opinions.

It is not an opinion. Yes, it is speculation. Unfounded, idiotic, speculation, intended to promote nonsensical conspiracies, much like your false claim of a conspiracy by KFC to use mutant chickens, which you did not retract.

The photos show a mangled motorbike, suggesting a violent collision not the settling of a gambling debt.

Never saw the post you are responding to; however, it's weird they were burying the evidence.

I hope the two kids are found, they are just starting life

Well,

That's speculation, of course.

But apparently, the 40-year-old mother has been here since 2018, making her 32 when she arrived and the kids followed later.

It's weird though, two young kids setting off to nowhere at 4am in the morning, and they made contact with somebody, so it all looks to be pre-arranged, and then we have the buried motorbike.

A bit uncalled-for, I think it's a big worry and I really get a bad feeling on this.

If, and I mean if, the parents have been up to something as implied by others on here, I hope the two youngsters come out unscathed.

10 hours ago, Priorexpat said:

As stated already, why are your kids allowed to leave home at 4AM?

Well I think the point is that the girl is 22 years old. It seems that she was living with the parents, but she could just as easily have been living in her own place at her age. In fact, why is she still living with her parents I another question.

The boy is 17, so not an adult, but not really a kid.

I don’t think the ages are quite the issue but it’s my impression that not many people go out at 4am. Most are sleeping at home, some might be drunk in a gutter.

It does seem like some kind of secret assignation has gone wrong because they got involved with the wrong people. Hopefully not.

Amateurs. Knowing that every step you make in Thailand is monitored and logged, the suspects should be caught soon.

The person I responded to tried to promote a "conspiracy" that the 2 were offed because of gambling debts.

I had originally said I hope they are not dead or dying in a ditch or have been kidnapped. The mangled motorbike suggests a violent collision, so it appears that I was not far off the mark with the suggestion of a crash. I will not be surprised if this is a hit and run with an attempt to conceal the victims.Would not be the first time.

Of course I hope for their safe return, but I would be lying if I said the possibility of her going to see a client did not cross my mind. Very common for Thai hookers to do the same at 4am. I also considered they were going to either buy or sell drugs. I also considered it was a serious motor vehicle accident that a driver "cleaned up." (no pun intended)

I think I am not alone is disbelieving their convenience store story, whether that truly was their story to their parents, or that's what the parents have told police, because they know more.

They were not abducted from the house, so that means they were going to meet someone. Who, and for what purpose, remains unknown, but I see nothing wrong with considering all possibilities, as I am sure the police are doing.

The photos do not show a mangled motorbike, they show a dismantled bike, which has been taken apart and buried to hide evidence.

Nowhere in the pictures can be seen damage, and it also not mentioned in the article that there was damage
