Russian siblings Diana Nazimova, 22, and Roman Nazimova, 17, have been missing since leaving their home in Huay Yai, Bang Lamung, in the early hours of 26 July. Police are examining CCTV footage showing their motorbike meeting another bike before both vanished.

The pair left at about 4am on a black Honda ADV 160, registration 4 Kor Sor 6379 Chon Buri. Roman was riding and Diana was the passenger, according to Huay Yai Police Station investigators.

Their mother, 40-year-old Zarina Naqzimova, gave further evidence to police on 28 July through an interpreter. She said the siblings had left in their normal clothes, carrying only their mobile phones, and she believed they were going to a convenience store. She reported that she received a safety alert from one of their phone.

CCTV trail leads towards motorway 7

Police said the siblings greeted a security guard as normal when they left Bristol Park village in Moo 7, Huay Yai. At 4.02am, their motorbike was recorded passing Soi Wat Thung Lahan, heading towards Ban Amphur.

At 4.21am, CCTV captured the bike near traffic lights beneath the bridge on the Map Ta Phut-Najomtien motorway 7, around six to seven kilometres from their home.

The motorbike travelled towards the toll point before Diana briefly got off and stood beside it, then got back on. They then rode the wrong way down to the frontage road, where the pair stopped to speak with people on another motorbike.

Police said the bikes remained together about two minutes, with two people on each motorcycle when they left.

Between 4.31am and 4.33am, the siblings' bike was seen travelling with the unidentified motorcycle towards Wat Yang Yai. A third bike was reportedly following about 100 metres behind before the group disappeared from CCTV coverage.

Police check possible reported debt claim link

Investigators have also received a tip from the public, that the Honda ADV 160 may have been seen with a man identified only as Mr P. The man allegedly told the witness that he was holding the vehicle as security over a 60,000-baht debt.

Police are trying to locate the man and check whether the bike was the missing siblings' vehicle and whether the claim is connected to their disappearance.

Officers said they had not ruled out any possibility, such as the pair had been under surveillance, were lured to the area, family/friend problems or other criminal activity.

Their mother said she bought a home in Huay Yai in 2018 and brought her children to live with her in 2021. The siblings attend a school in Pattaya and, she said, they speak Russian and English but not Thai.

Authorities stated that the investigation into the disappearances is ongoing.

Definitely, Pattaya is not a safe place, especially after 1 am.

She didn't find the time strange and where was the store? If such a trip was necessary why didn't the mother drive them to the store given the time and always the potential for motorcycle accidents at that time in Thailand?

They may be held as hostages. A demand for ransom may follow soon.

The daughter is an adult child and the son is almost an adult, so quite shaming the mother. I pray that they are okay and just did something dumb like many of us did as young adults.

So stores are convenient at 0400 in Pattaya?

The bike in the last CCTV picture is not the Honda ADV160 the siblings left home on.

It's more likely a Click. Was there a bike swap and why?

Mother trusts 22 year old daughter with the nearly adult son to go to the 7-11 or whatever for snacks. So what if it's 4am. Maybe they were up late getting a buzz. Nothing whatsoever wrong with that, they don't need a babysitter. Whatever happened could have happened to anyone regardless of age. Hope you don't have kids, you seem to know very little about raising them.

7-11 is a 2 minute ride away.

Kids are going in the opposite direction past Wat Thung Lahan.

Stop, talk to strangers and proceed East for another 10 minutes towards Wat Yang Yai.

Hopefully with the Public's help they can be found and safely returned home.

20 is the age of majority in Thailand so Roman has a bit to go yet before he learns riding out at 4am having lied to his mother where he is going

( presumably he had to have told her 7-11 otherwise how did she know) on a motorbike with his sister and no helmets, is a dumb thing to do unless you are up to no good.

And are the family nocturnal? Most families are asleep at 4am.

They could be young compulsive gamblers who simply got in way over their heads.

They were old enough. 22 years of age is an adult, and a 17 year old male accompanied by a family member adult addresses your concern. Stop blaming the victims.

I hope they are not dead or dying in a ditch or have been kidnapped.

Oh come it! It's not even possible to tell what make that scooter is from that grainy shot, let alone what model!

The police seem to confident about it and they will at least have the benefit of previous CCTV sighting and the all important time line. You have neither.

Russian’s Motorbike Found Buried Near Pattaya

Police have discovered the buried motorcycle belonging to two Russians who mysteriously disappeared in Chonburi province, prompting a major search operation and an escalating investigation. The bike was found concealed beneath the ground in a wooded area of Na Jomtien, close to the motorway, raising fresh concerns over the fate of the missing pair.

Officers investigating the disappearance located the motorcycle after searching the forested area on the morni g of Wednesday 29 July 2026. The discovery has led police to treat the site as a key crime scene, with forensic teams to examine the vehicle and surrounding area for evidence. The unusual attempt to hide the motorcycle by burying it has intensified suspicions that the two may have been victims of a serious crime.

Authorities have requested additional police officers to reinforce the operation and have sealed off the area while the investigation continues. Search teams are conducting further inspections of the surrounding woodland as detectives work to establish what happened to the two Russian nationals. Police have yet to release further details and say the investigation remains ongoing.
