A bit too intense for me. I wouldn't want to live there.

I would much prefer mixed immigration, with some asians, east europeans, whatever.

But would not feel too comfortable with that demographic.

Good points well-made. But, in the same way as the Dutch couldn't accept Wilders as PM after his party's big wins in late 2024, I doubt most French want Le Pen in the Hôtel Matignon, same as the majority of British won't accept Farage squatting in #10.

The EU needs to find a bit of deep inner fortitude, but only for another couple of years, and stop inviting JD Vance to come and spread his Trump evangelism like so much manure.
