Is Illegal Migration a Death Blow to the EU?

Featured Replies

The main problem is that the more they let in, the more likely that indigenous Europeans will lose control of their politics, identity, and culture, as the arrivals band together in certain places and elect their own MPs that do not share European values... all of them should be banned from political positions and the civil service as they cannot be trusted.

There is a massive certain naivety about what is happening now... ban them to keep control of your country, rather like every other country does. Politics should be off limits to all that do not match native dynamics of a country... don't like it, then you know where the airports are, rather like in every country in Asia, South America, Africa, to most everywhere. Rights are fine, but with rights come responsibility... something most entitled morons forget.

You seem to be very excited by the prospect of the break-up of the EU. However, you will probably be disappointed for the foreseeable future.

It would take a seismic shift for Germany to leave. Over 80% of Germans support the country's continued membership and report a favorable view of the EU and around half favour the EU moving toward federalisation. Only a small number (< 15%) supports leaving the EU.

Although support for the EU in France is lower, there is still a healthy majority in favour of remaining (49% vs. 27%; the rest undecided).

Recent migrant issue in Spain could be a catalyst for the EU crumbling, according to this guy.

Because once these illegals get citizenship in Spain, they can move to any other EU country.

And there may be backlash from other EU countries.

There already is some backlash. Meloni has suspended the Shengen free movement with Spain.

This guy is predicting the EU may crumble because of this crisis.

Then each country would be free to create their own immigration policies and not be dictated by EU heads.

I posted a video by this guy once and got booed off the stage.

But here goes.

The EU won't be too worried. Most of them seem to want to get to the UK.

Just trying to see which way the wind is blowing.

I don't know who this guy is, but he's talking about "the King's head being cut off" in the UK. Who is in charge behind the scenes? The Fabian Society? Their logo is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

He is saying the food shortage is a systemic failure and there may also be blackouts.

Of course the leadership of the AfD and National Rally have gazed longingly at the only other country to escape EU hegemony and are in total awe of what a rip-roaring success Brexit was and how exceptionally well the UK is doing.

The EU will eventually collapse under its own weight as it is an outdated concept with a currecy that will fail/already is. This idea that the Euro can be an omni-fit for the vastly different economies of northern Europe with the idle indebited southern ones is just fantasy land... not going to work in the long run. Yeah, they can manipulate it for so long, but ultimaly it's going to come undone, as one fit for all doesn't work for so many economies of such differing qualities and they can't print their own money or manage their financial markets etc. A recipe for disaster.

You make some valid points about currency unions (the Euro) but there is little to suggest that its' total failure is imminent. Indeed, one school of thought - imo a bit fanciful - is that if Trump continues with his attempts to déstabilisé the world economy, other nations may move away from the dollar and replace it as the world's reserve currency with the Euro. Whether that would be beneficial for the Euro is another matter.

As for the collapse of the EU itself. Well, all empires/ organisations fail eventually but, as with the Euro, there is currently little to suggest that its' demise is imminent.

That's right. Removal from EU doesn't guarantee things will get better.

Sometimes countries get worse for any number of reasons. And there's nothing anyone can do about it.

Trump is just misdirection and not relevent to this topic and I'd like for people to stop involving him in every topic and thread.

This topic goes way beyong when he (Trump) will no longer be the US president and the next one will probably role back many of his policies, like he has done to the ones before him.

This is a European issue and a lack of policy and direction in Brussels... nothing to do with Trump and this issue will exist long after Trump is gone.

No still none the wiser. Why you would post a picture of Somalians outside Lambeth town hall and then follow it up with a tictoc video of a woman claiming that she is continuously abused by non-whites? Are you suggesting that these individuals are the ones responsible for the alleged abuse?

You're asking the wrong question on purpose. The post shows who is visibly occupying public space in Lambeth and then shows a woman describing continuous abuse by non-whites. Correlation isn't causation in every single case, but when the same demographic keeps appearing in the same patterns of disorder, rape stats, and parallel societies, normal people notice. Your response is just the standard 'how dare you notice' deflection. If the video is lying, prove it. If the picture is irrelevant, explain why that particular group keeps clustering in the places with the worst outcomes.

Yes, it is predominantly a question of policy for Brussels and Frankfurt, but it is disingenuous to suggest that US policy is not relevant to the conversation. If the world expects more of the same post-2028, then the role of the dollar in the world economy will be increasing discussed and any discussion will necessarily involved the euro.

I asked you to explain what was the point of posting a photo of a group of Somalian men posing outside Lambeth town hall as there was no explanation other than that Lambeth is a South London borough (which is correct). You seem to think that this small gathering of Somalian men is newsworthy. As I live in Lambeth, I'm obviously interested to know what news/ events I might have missed.

You then subsequently posted a video of a woman claiming that she can't step outside her door for fear of what non-whites might do to her. You still offer no explanation of the link between the group in front of Lambeth town hall and the woman in the video.

Neither you nor I have any idea whether the woman is telling the truth, but it is not up to me to falsify her claims, it's up to you to validate and verify them.

A bit off topic, but is the EU's biggest problem financial rather than the migration issue?

This guy crunched the numbers and has come up with grim prospects.

0:00 - The EU's Disastrous Decade & The Fall of Germany

18:32 - Is the EU Becoming the New Argentina?

The Western countries are crushing themselves with the high costs of their welfare states.

That would depend on what the source of your claim that this "particular group" are actually "clustering" and causing these "outcomes" is.

I doubt that you have come to this conclusion based on personal or even anecdotal experience.

Really? I could care less. Doesn't affect us here in Thailand where the government actually enforces immigration laws.

Thailand enforces what now? Even after dozens of Chinese and Indian criminals have been rounded up and busted AFTER setting up their drug and vape factories or scam call centers here?

In your book, looking at his entire history some may say he has been very successful in business.

You lefties really have a hard time separating personal Prejudices from realty, just because you don’t like someone does not mean they are a failure.

Yes, his family's net worth has benefited from smart investment decisions.

But, his introduction to this thread is related his failed political endeavours, and buggerall to do with his business acumen.

You lefty-callers quickly revert to lefty-calling when you have buggerall else to offer. Just because someone offers an opposing opinion, doesn't make them a hair-on-fire lefty. But hey, you do you.

Crack on.

The council raised the Somali flag over the Town Hall. I find it offensive. Somali's do not contribute anything and have no place in Europe.

No, I can’t personally verify every anonymous claim on the internet. Neither can you. But treating every such account as automatically false until proven otherwise is a neat way to never discuss the pattern.

To put my thoughts clear on this topic "Is Illegal Migration a Death Blow to the EU?" - YES!

Anyone still arguing that illegal immigration is a net positive, or that enforcing borders is somehow “mean,” has the cognitive depth of a wet paper bag.

I'll add this about the pattern:

Walking down the street in Barrow. A car pulls up. She’s shoved into the footwell.

For the next five years Ellie Reynolds was raped, beaten, drugged and threatened by Pakistani grooming gangs. They told her they’d cut out her tongue if she spoke.

When she finally went to the police… they arrested her. While a fantasist’s lies dominated the headlines and the authorities looked the other way, real girls like Ellie were being destroyed.

This isn’t “far-right”. This is Britain’s shame.

Never again.

Yeah, the empire once ran the place and planted its flag. That’s not the same as a London council voluntarily raising a foreign national flag on a British town hall in 2026 while calling it “celebration of diversity.”

One was conquest. The other is a municipality advertising its own displacement. Not the same thing, and the 🤣 doesn’t make it clever.
