will IRS send tax refund to WISE account?

I'm helping a Thai neighbor file her US taxes which will result in a refund of taxes withheld by a US payer. She has not lived in US for 30 years and of course does not have a US bank account to receive an ACH from the IRS.

I am thinking she could create a WISE account and set it up so she can receive US funds via ACH. Then transfer the IRS refund to her Thai bank. I have a WISE account based in Thailand and can use ACH to receive funds from my own US based bank. I am not sure the IRS would accept that type of account.

Does anyone know if a WISE account is an acceptable receiving account to the US IRS?
