Nowhere was it reported that "she drugged herself" in the manner that you are insinuating - it was reported that she took some medication to help her sleep at the same time that the child would likely be sleeping, again, there has been no suggestion that the child at any time was needing the attention of a mother who was "drugged".

In America it's around 30%.

There have been many studies and reporting is lower then assaults, as it is everywhere else........Broader Victim Demographics: According to data evaluated by the Women and Men Progressive Movement (WMP) in Thailand, 59.2% of all sexual assault victims nationwide are school and university students, with a significant concentration of victims falling into the 11–15 and 16–20 age brackets. The one I posted was a year ago.

I don't doubt your sincerity, at all, but the information that you quoted does not state that "up to 65% of girls in Thailand are molested in schools and homes by the time they reach 17" which, I think, is what you are suggesting. Wording is important.

. I read it awhile back, and I know you understand that a large amount of cases aren't reported in all countries. One study said 30%, and if you take the estimated 87% that aren't reported, which is very likely, it would bring the figure way up. If I could find the link I would, as it made me very upset knowing I have a child here, and is a major reason I'll be taking her out of here asap.
