Yet only one people is constantly ordered to “go back” somewhere else, even though they returned to the land where their identity, language, faith, history, and civilization were born.

The Jewish people are not foreign tourists in Judea.

They did not name them selves after this land.

This land was named after them .

Our kingdoms stood here.

Our language was born here.

Our holiest places are here.

Our history is buried beneath every road.

For two thousand years, Jews prayed toward Jerusalem, mourned Jerusalem, dreamed of Jerusalem, and ended their prayers with the words, “Next year in Jerusalem.”

Then they finally returned to Jerusalem, and suddenly the descendants of empires began calling them colonizers.

One could argue that we've made some progress and with the exception of certain terrorist nations like Russia since World War II the norm has been to surrender territory gained during wartime.

So try as hard as you can to ignore precedent and to justify current extremist and genocidal policies, but most of us are not convinced. Israel's one of the few nations on earth to acquire land during a war during the last several decades and refused to return it. And they are furthering their goals with the 100 plus settlements that have been taken from the Gazans. You can deny it all you want but Israel has become a barbaric and murderous nation, and the majority of the Israeli people support that policy.

It's no wonder Israelis are "persona non grata" in Thailand and so many other parts of the world now.

ISIS comes to mind first. Russian and Ukrainian soldiers have done similar things online too, and Americans in Iraq photographed themselves humiliating prisoners at Abu Ghraib. In almost every war, soldiers have documented abuse, war crimes and even rape. Not so different from putting heads on stakes in the old days, or displaying severed limbs to show who had been there.

The buildings were evacuated and empty and the IDF were making security zone to stop more attacks by demolishing buildings .
