Hello :o

Has anyone else got this strange problem - since about half an hour (started pretty much exactly 22:00) the UBC signal keeps dropping out every like 5-6 minutes, stays off for a few minutes and comes back. It is shown "No Signal" or sometimes "Low Signal".

It's not raining and there is hardly a cloud visible..... so why does it keep dropping? Only to make me upset (want to watch the AF live concert)..??

Best regards....

Thanks for replies :o

Seems to have fixed itself now... hasn't been down since 10:30, maybe just had it's "lousy half-hour".

Best regards....

Considering the altitude of the satellites (22,300km) what you can see in the sky does not really reflect what's in the way. Also the transmission medium - KU Band - leaves a lot to be desired. I think the transmission point is Nontaburi for UBC - could be wrong thoug.

Just to let you know that we were watching the game here in the Middle East and the signal was also lost for a period of time, so it must have been the signal from the UK that was effecting the whole thing!
