The US military will never tell anyone in public exactly what they have in store as far as munitions, including new weapons.

Trump and Hegseth are hidding the truth about the weapons shortages and also war casualties.

I laugh smugly when i hear America is the best, biggest military in the World. Past Conflicts paints a different picture of your bragging, Countrys you walked into like Viet, Afghahn you threw the Towel in and left the civilians to sort the damage out you inflicted befoe scurrying back to lick your wounds then blame everyone else when it went tits up. This will go the sameway when the Yanks start poking there nose into another country's problems. Put it this way i would put our Parra's, SAS , SBS, and Royal Commando's up against any thing the yanks have. There would be only one winner. The Yanks talk a good war but when it boils down to the graft there always second best. Iraq Winning.

Donnies Boss Xi in China says Trump needs to use up all his weapons in Iran first

Then China can easily invade Taiwan

Trump can claim we "can't" help because we have no weapons to help.

Wait. That sounds too close to the truth.

Maybe Trump can claim we can't help because we have plenty of weapons but China has taken Rosie O'Donnell hostage so we can't use them because Trump is such a feminist always looking out for the well-being of women.

But they did - the MOU agreed between Trump and Iran.

But it took only a day before Trump violated the MOU and sparked more warfare with Iran.

Apparently you also overlooked the very public and discussed 2015 Iran nuclear deal struck during the Obama administration called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. What happened to that deal - 47th POTUS Trump killed it.

Is this even relevant? Did you ever expect the US would be capable of preventing China from taking over Taiwan? The US has never been in a position to prevent such a takeover, now or before the Iran conflict.

It takes a certain kind of stupid to go 81 years with the biggest military in the world, and the greatest military expenditure in history, and never win any war of consequence. Disaster Don couldn't even beat Iran.

No one knows what the US has unless you have inside information and it won't come out anyway for obvious reasons.

True, no-one knows what the US has. The same can be said of Iran.

Logic and math says when someone is using million dollar Patriot and THAAD systems to knock out $30,000 drones, they are going to be holding the wrong end of the financial stick. The same can be said of using a destroyer defending against speedboats laying mines. It should be obvious from the funding requests put before Congress that munitions are being depleted.

It's asymmetric warfare, and Ukraine with cardboard drones and Iran with lawnmower engines are appearing to be very successful. The Germans in WWII found their technical superiority in tanks did them no good against hordes of Soviet tanks.

If a bee stings me, I can kill it. If a thousand bees are trying to sting me, I get the hell out. That's what a sensible person does.

Yes it is. The deterrent for the Chinese is the distance between Taiwan and the Chinese mainland. A couple of nuclear submarine can make the crossing untenable, unless they are required elsewhere.

Xi can jack up the price of oil quick and even start another maybe we'll have to ration gas scare before the midterms if Trump declines his offer.

We don't know what Xi will do. He's in control of this situation, also Russia might possibly be involved too

Iran only has drones, surface to air missiles, small boats and infantry. This means they have had no chance to win militarily since the first week. Yes, this is costing both sides a lot of money, and needs to end soon.

This should not have been going on this long but firing during a ceasefire shows one thing.

Firing at their neighbors another. Killing their own citizens by the thousands, to this month still, along with all the others in the last 50 years another.

Negotiations should have occurred awhile ago, seeing they know they have no chance against the US military, and care nothing about their own citizens.

Closing the Strait hurts everyone, including them, and they're lucky it's still so important. The US could level Iran in a matter of minutes if it wanted to, but they're thinking Iran would have some sense and care about their people and those neighbors that they would negotiate.

They're good at waiting because of their insane leaders. Who knows what they're thinking and we can only go by their history, which is terrorism and not caring about anyone but that insanity.

There's no comparison of the Ukraine and Iran, as the Ukraine has an Air Force and military weapons but the fighting is on the ground. Iran only has those drones, tiny boats and infantry. They haven't caused the US much damage besides the wallet, but look at the cost of Iran. Those Iranian speed boats could be incinerated if they used them directly against the US. The US military has not used most of it's munitions, but Iran will soon find out if they don't use their heads soon.

IMO that's all Iran needs.

Yes, America could destroy Iran militarily. It can't do that without boots on the ground. No-one has ever won a war from the air alone, unless you want to count Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Put simply, the American public has no stomach for an invasion. It would be political suicide.

Yes, it shouldn't happen. Americans would die, and most of Iran's infantry also. This isn't the past though, the US having much more technology in weapons, intel and bombs that can kill thousands at one time without using nuclear. Again, if Iran cared about it's people and their futures, this would have already ended. It's going on too long and needs negotiation for everyone's benefit. Too costly. I also don't see Trump backing down with that ego.

The key to this thing is the Straight of Hormuz and the flow of oil.. Iran can keep that mostly closed, despite what Tump says, and there isn't much the US can do about it. If the US could have "won" this war, they would have done that a long time ago. And yet here we are. And yes, negotiation and diplomacy are preferable to escalation.

The US could win this war, and open the Strait immediately, but it would cost many lives, including those boats going through, as Iran doesn't care who they target, as long as their narrative is continuing. The US doesn't want to kill any more than necessary, as it does look bad, but this enemy doesn't know when to quit, which would benefit them as well.

The distance an invasion fleet has to travel from China to Taiwan is roughly double that of Operation Overlord, the Allied invasion of France in 1944.

I can explain it to you. i can't understand it for you.

I did not see the US caring too much when it killed 160 schoolgirls.

It wasn't intentional, and had nothing to do with Americans but the military's mistake. That Trump looked elsewhere is to be expected. Bad intel kills people quite often and collateral damage happens when the enemy puts military bases near a school, so they're also guilty. Iran killed more than that in a weeks time, and is still doing it now. Iran has been guilty for decades and it's citizens have paid for the actions of the insane.

They are guilty? What about the 320+ schools that are within American military compounds? Must be some evil people to put them there.

There's very little chance any military from another country could make it to US shores without getting shot down, Iran is surrounded by other countries, all of whom can target and hit it a lot easier. as they can hit them.Yes, they can target schools on military bases overseas but most of our defenses would still stop them. You see what happens when Iran shot at our bases there.

I must explain to that this would be applicable in normal circumstances. But Taiwan is ringed by multiple Chinese navy (and other) vessels, and airforce planes constantly harassing Taiwan. It will carry on like this until they decide to invade (or don't), so the distance issue doesn't come come into force here.

The US has 13 military bases in the Gulf. The death toll on those bases is 19, with 750 wounded. Most of the 750 have traumatic brain injuries caused by blast overpressure.

Yes, we can see what happened. Your defenses did not stop all of them.

Iran was no threat at all to America until a narcissistic sociopath ripped up a sound treaty out of sheer spite, and was persuaded by another sociopath to go to war. Or blackmailed into it.

Now it is, and not just on the battlefield.

War has deaths and injuries. Iran's suffered quite a bit more, especially towards their own people by them.

Iran's leaders said death to USA. That's a threat, especially after seeing their history against us and other nations. Terrorists have only one place, and that's elimination so the rest of us can have peace.

Trump is out there, but the other presidents only fed Iran and they still kept killing. A country with sociopaths in charge enriching uranium cannot be trusted. They aren't like the US. Israel has their own agenda. Some have to be put in their place so others can be safe.

Trump is not a sociopath but a malignant narcissist. Iran's leaders are sociopaths. You speak up there and want to change the regime, they hang, torture and shoot you. Unless you threaten the president, they can't do anything to you.You appoint a maniac there he's in charge for life. In the US they're gone in 4 years and can be impeached.
