That is for a facilitator extension, not a hand holding extension.

For a clean totally legal Hand Holding only agent assisted extension you attend the IO (approx 5min at most) with the agent and get your photo taken on site and receive your 1,900Baht receipt!

get a cor , ( driving license, buy a car, ) u should already have bank account by now

Other than that, after the agent gets ur extension, do it urself online ( 90 day, tm 30)
re entry permit can do at airport

I don't need to do anything. That's what I pay for.

Is there any practical difference between "renewing" a non-O Retirement Visa and "extending" the permission to stay based on that same visa?

It's just a particularly pleasant point for pedants.

I do my 90 day reports in under two minutes on my laptop. IMM even sends me a reminder 15 days prior to due date.

But I see the agent will do it for 500 baht.

That's online reporting. First report cannot be done online after trip abroad

And if you use the Magnifying glass after entering your passport number and nationality it should be less than a minute!

Assuming you have done it once before!
