Pattaya has a near complete lack of those people that I hate seeing the most when walking around in NYC. Less is more.

Dominicans?

Besides the back and forth bickering which seems to be the hallmark of too many threads nowadays, I also remove unsubstantiated claims and comments which can be construed to be defamatory.

I'll be back. Keep it up and I'll be issuing formal warnings. Collectively please chill out and attempt to be respectful of other members and don't make defamatory statements.

No, and I obviously cannot name and shame those groups on a public forum. It doesn't even matter who MY personal most hated New Yorkers are - my point is that I'm enjoying their absence in Pattaya, which is a big plus for Pattaya in my book!

As for the mob? Unless you owe those guys money, why would they bother you?

Haven't been to NY in a long time.

But it seems like a high-stress place.

And you guys are downplaying how unsafe it was there was there at one point.

Pattaya is way more relaxed.

NY may have more restaurants, entertainment options.

But a much more stressful place to live. I don't need stress at this stage of my life.

Massive urban jungles are too stressful for me.

And there is plenty of entertainment online.

Never lived there only visited.

Friend who lived there told me if you are in line in a coffee shop you better have your order ready when your turn comes.

According to him if you say "Um..." you get a chorus of "We're burning daylight here" and "People got places to go" and other unprintable things shouted at you from those in line behind you.

Drums added in remix spoiled a nice song.

Remix was pointless.

A lack of decent songs about the place

New York, New York.

The city that never sleeps.

If you can fake it there, you can fake it anywhere.

So the exercise here is to name things found in the greater Pattaya area that you won't find in New York City (all boroughs).

Let the game begin.

Lack of Americans?

Has less americians 😁

FYI we're allowed to call ourselves the N word if we're black and badly behaved 👌🏿 (that's why Pattaya is our favourite place in Thailand 555) - we also often call white people the n-word if they act like n's.

Fair play to the other poster tho - there aren't as many of us as there is in NYC.

Per capita, Pattaya has more degenerates, especially with the Brits in Pattaya.

Mass prostitution rooted in a society where feckless men face few or no sanctions for rampant libertinism, while a semi-fascist pseudo-democracy disenfranchises its own people, leaving women and some men increasingly dependent on sex work simply to make ends meet. It also attracts some of the loneliest and most sexually frustrated men from wealthier societies, who travel there to exploit this profound power imbalance, while in turn becoming vulnerable to exploitation themselves. It becomes a place where profound unhappiness is commodified and monetised: poverty, loneliness, sexual frustration and unequal power are all transformed into a market

Pattaya is pretty much ONLY degenerates - esp wrt farangs.
Everyone knows that people go to Pattaya for one thing and one thing only.
(apart from maybe some of the missionaries and NGOs trying to save the girls.

You're only fooling yourself if you claim different - place was literally built on and for the
worlds oldest profession.

FACT.

Careful stepping off that soapbox, you may slip in the saliva.
