Will I be required to go the the Legalization department in Chang 'Wattana in Bangkok. I am 7 hours out of "Bangkok.

Can I e-mail them? I have had two heart operations already and suffer from emphysema and hypertona along wih episodic atrm filbratiom that is irreggal heart beat

There is no such requirement. There was a report from Pattaya that it was going to happen - but I see a 'low key' post today that the person who originated this story has reportedly said it has been shelved due to Embassy opposition. At any rate there is no reliable information that such a thing will happen.

If if were required you would not have to do yourself as documents do not require your presence at the MFA and agents could take care of it.
