libya 115 Posted September 3, 2007 Share Posted September 3, 2007 SOURCE: Pattaya City News: September 3rd 2007 Mobile Phone Shop employee shot in the head as he attempts to prevent a robbery. Over the weekend a shooting took place at a Mobile Telephone Shop in Soi Kow Tha Low. Police Lieutenant Natapong from Banglamung Police Station began his investigation at the Hello Mobile Shop in Soi Kow Tha Low, the scene of the shooting. Khun Nopadon aged 30; an employee of the shop was shot just after 8.30pm on Sunday as he was preparing to close the shop. He was taken to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital in a serious condition after sustaining a single shot through the right side of his head. Witnesses to the shooting explained that two men were seen entering the shop and spent some time looking at mobile phones. It appears that the men attempted to steal a phone but one of the men was prevented from leaving the shop by the victim who was then shot in the head by the other man.
