Who Provides The Cheapest Call Rates To Ireland Landlines?

Featured Replies

Hi

I have been researching and I cannot find myself a cheaper rate to call Ireland from Thailand (using traditional phone line) than 30 bhat a minute with CAT Telecom.

Does anyone have any information on how to get the cheapest landline rate telephone call to ireland from thailand and who provides this etc?

Thanks

Gerry

I know that you said that you wanted to use a traditional phone line, but maybe Skype or Gizmo would be something to consider.

http://www.deedial.com - Call directly from your mobile phone. No internet required. 2 baht per minute to Ireland fixed line. I use this service. You can even map frequently called international numbers to local numbers. You then just dial the local number and it connects directly overseas. No PIN numbers required. Just as convenient and much cheaper than CAT once you've set it up.

voipdiscount.com - call from the internet to ireland landlines, free, unlimited

voipdiscount.com - call from the internet to ireland landlines, free, unlimited

voipdiscount.com, or any other of those free services offered by Betamax GmbH, is a very cleverly designed marketing scam. It is far from free for most users. Read this page to understand how they make money off of you:

Lots of complaints about them blocking accounts if you actually try to use your account in a way they don't make money from. Nothing in life is free. Just be very careful with this company.

This www.deedial.com looks perfect... see I have full VOIP with irish provider and skype as back up. I telework in ireland and this big internet crash in pattaya due to stolen TOT telecoms cables which cost me about 14 days lost business, I am earnest looking for back up methods of calling ireland on cheap rate should there be such an internet crash again. it caused me serious business problems.

and of course, all or most ISPs share the TOT cable... I think??? so if they steal cable again and cut it down the plan of a 2nd seperate ISP will not work, and the phone line will not work either.

So let me study deedial and see!

Thanks

Gerry
