You can view the promo clip here. Looks like a good effort, although some characters remind me of Mulan/Pocahontos.

I liked it and the story behind it. The Buddha is shown in some parts of the clip as a superhero, battling demons etc.

After looking at the promo, all it did was reinforce my view that Bhuddists are secure in their faith. Some other religions would be rather vocal and threatening if such an anime was made. Once it's dubbed into other languages it will be a good tool to teach people about some of the precepts of Bhuddism. I'm an agnostic with no use for religion, but I'd watch it.
