Can anyone tell me what Thai tax forms are needed to apply for a long stay 1 year non imm O visa based on marriage. My wife and I own 2 small businesses together. The businesses are in her name and because they are in her name I don't have a work permit. She will be the one who will have to provide the proof of 40,000baht a month to get the visa. What tax forms does she need to show? The taxes we have been paying are Por Ngor Dor 90 and Por Ngor Dor 94. Does anyone know if this tax is what's required for the visa and if not which tax forms do we need? Here is a list of what documents I think I need to apply for this visa. Can anyone tell me if this is correct? Thanks

1. Application form

2. My Passport (Canadian)

3. Wife's ID card and passport showing her name change.

4. Wife's Address book

6. Two Passport Photo's

7. Thai marriage certificate

8. Wife's Thai Bank book (updated)

9. My Home Country Bank Statement

9. Business Registration

10. Detailed Map of where we live

11. Por Ngor Dor 1 tax form # ??????????

Is there anything else I need? Thanks

Just to clarify, do you already have an "O" type visa and are asking about the "extension of stay" requirements?

I already have a 90 day Non Imm O visa. I would like to apply for a 1 year extension in Thailand. If not I will go to Singapore or somewhere like that and apply for a Non Imm O multi entry visa. But prefer to do it in Thailand.

No need to go to Singapore. Your wife will need the PND #51 ( the half year report.) and the PND #90/ PND #91/PND #94 ( any of the year end reports for last year)

Rhino, in your case, with the financial evidence being your wife’s monthly income, the immigration office expects to see the tax receipts for her personal income for the past 3 months. At least one office has been reported to have asked for receipts of the past 12 months.

Under No. 4, with “wife’s address book”, you probably mean the house registration book, because this is required.

Your home country’s bank statement should not be required.

Most, if not all, offices also ask for photographs of you and your wife together in your residence, outside your residence with the house number visible, and the whole residence building, plus photos of – don’t laugh – your and your wife’s clothes together in a wardrobe.

Some offices may ask for additional things; you did not say where you will apply. I just read a post about the Phuket office asking for a form Khor Sor 22, of which even their immigration officers do not know exactly what it is.

Of all documents of which you want to retain the original, eg ID card, passport, etc., you must also supply a photocopy if applying in Bangkok (Suan Phlu office), two copies at other offices.

Hey Maestro, Thanks for the response. I will be applying at Mataput Immagration office in Rayong Province. I'm living in Rayong so I thought I would go to the closest immagration office. Or do you know of a better Immagration office to go to? I read that now you have go to the immagration office in the province where you are living. Can't go to other provinces to apply. Not to sure if this is true it's just what I read. Anyone have any experience with the Mataput Immagration office in Rayong?

I believe it is not yet being enforced but I agree it is best to go to your local office. Let them get to know you and your wife. (Forgot to mention earlier that your wife’s presence at the application is an essential requirement. Alright, she is not a document :o and documents is what you asked about)

Also, with a first application an immigration officer usually visits you at home and for this reason it seems obvious that application should be made at the local immigration office, and I believe this is in fact already enforced for a first application for extension to live with Thai wife.

Another thought just occurred to me. If your wife’s business is registered as a sole proprietorship the business’s income counts as her personal income and therefore it can, I guess, in such case be useful if you bring the business registration documents.

Thats why she does not in most cases report a monthly salary. Sole proprietorships are not required to provide this prroof, just the year end and half year report.

I think if you have a child together maybe they will ask less proof ?

Right now I am in the situation my wife is earning about 30k , not enough I know ,

but in the near future we might get over the 40k .So when it does

I will go for the extension also . The thing is that our home and our business are in 2 different cities .

I stay with my wife and my youngest son (who do come home only in the weekends) half of the week ,

and I go back home half of the week .

Will this be a problem for immigration ? Maybe they think we do not stay together ......

I was just at the tax office today. They told me I only need to show the Por Ngor Dor 90 or 94. Which is the personal tax of my wife. We don't need to show the Por Ngor Dor 51 form and we can't pay that tax because we don't have a Thai Limited Company. They said because the businesses are in her name only that Por Ngor Dor 94 form should be fine to get the visa extension. She will be sponsoring me and supporting me in the Thai Immigrations eyes I won't be supporting her at all. Am heading to the Immigration office tomorrow to try my luck. Will let you know what I exactly needed as far as documents and if that's enough tax forms to get this visa. Keep you posted.
