Student Needs Clarification To Extend His Stay

Featured Replies

Hi everybody. I am a Belgian student on exchange program during 6 months at Chulalongkorn University. I obtained a single entry isa from the Thai Embassy in Brussels and entered Thailand on July 30, 2007. As a result I m entitled to stay in Thailand til October 27, 2007 (3 months!).

My question is as follows: Having to stay in Thailand til end December to pass my exams, could it be possible to "jump" from an Education Visa to a Tourist Visa by going out of Thailand during a few days on October 27 and then coming back to Thailand with a flight ticket to go out (again) of Thailand 30 days later ?

Thank you for your precious help :o

Just do a extension of stay based on education. You won't have to leave Thailand. On the otherhand yes you can do a visa run.
