During a meeting to deliver his policy to head officials in Phang-Nga, after taking up the new post as Governor, Mr. Wichai Praisa-Ngob told them to strictly follow HM the Queen’s wishes for natural resources and environment conservation. He also vowed to continue the former governor’s project of environmental conservation programs by encouraging local people to actively take part in conserving forest and oceans which are all sources of food chain for them. Active campaigns against narcotic drugs and ensuring smooth and fair elections and joining the Thai nation in celebrating HM the King’s 80th Birthday Anniversary are among other top priorities of the new governor’s policy. Mr. Wichai was Deputy Director General of the Land Department before taking up the post as Governor of Phang-Nga.
