Found this terrific site by the University of Melbourne--a multi-lingual plant name database. This is the link to the Thai section, but if you need chinese or some other language they have that as well. No pics, but if you know the name of your plant in Latin , you can find the thai name here

Hi sbk, what a super site, how clever are you eh ?

Having grown Aussie plants in Oz for many years - I grew to realize that the only way to avoid confusion was to refer to a plant by it's Latin name. However living and gardening in Phuket throws up a whole new set of problems, some now answered by this site. Cheers & Thanks :o

Cheers, I was extremely happy to find it and have immediately bookmarked it. I have several books that also list plant names in Thai but mainly they list the basic ornamentals.
