Migrate Mdb Access97 To Access2003

Hi,

I have migrated a database (.mdb) from Access97 to Access2003 (MS Office). The migration worked OK apart from the fact that now all measurements in forms and reports are stated in inches, whereas they were originally all in cm.

Word and Excel 2003 have no problem with cm, but how can I force Access to let me change from inches to cm?

Access help suggests to go to regional settings but there is no option in this regard.

Any idea where to look?

You need to change the "Regional and Language Options" in Windows Control Panel, not in MS Access itself.

Open Control Panel

Choose 'Regional and Language Options'

Choose 'Customize This Format'

Change 'Measurement System' from U.S. to Metric

Sorry for my silly question. Problem solved.

Found it hidden deep in the regional settings.
