Hello All,

Any suggestions on a supplier of soybean seed in Thailand?

For some reason Thai companies are reluctant to use the web for advertising. Reason?

What about GMO free soybean seed?

thanks in advance.

I bought some soybean seeds from MaeJo University in Chiangmai....you might try the nearest agriculture university near you.

By the way, there are two kinds of soybeans grown around where I live in the north...one kind is called tua leuang which is the usual soybean which is harvested dry and the other is called tua let which is a soybean harvested when the seed is still green...it is eaten by steaming the pod after picking and the bean is squeezed out of the pod into the mouth...very tastey.

Around here it seems like everyone plants soybeans about the first or second week of January. Try to get some innoculant (bacteria powder to put on the seed) unless you know for sure that soybeans have been grown in your field in the last few years. The innoculant is cheap but not widely available so you should try to get it at the same time you get the seed.
