Wifi-internet Access

Featured Replies

Hi, looking for some advice, can anyone point me in the direction of a decent hotel(s) that have a decent wifi internet connection to be used in my room i would like to be staying around the MBK in bangkok, or on Sukumvit road, i have tried searching the internet and only came up with two so far, bangkok old inn was one of those offering wifi, alternatively can someone guide me how to install one of those PCMCIA cards that allow you to have internet access via a satellite, can you get them locally in bangkok, i remember a massive shopping centre/mall on petchburi road, near Ratchathewi station, and do they work in the sticks, ie i would like to travel to Ubon ratchachani so would like wifi internet access here as well if possible, or do they have limited coverage

Someone describe them as a card that you insert into the PCMCIA slot and you basically pay for internet usage via satellite similar to phone card system somthing to do with GPS or somthing like that,

Many thanks

The massive mall you mean is probably Pantip Plaza.

On the same road (but on the other side of Ratchathewi station) is Bangkok City Suites (Petchaburi soi 1).

800 baht per night and they have free WiFi on every floor. Their internet connection is from CSLoxinfo.
