If so .... what is your drive config and what experiences do you have with drives that aren't on their HCL?

For instance no 1TB drives are on the HCL and I just bought 2 7k1000's 1TB Hitachi drives that I can either

return with the Guardian Maximus I put them in or keep them and just return the case and pick up the NAS.
