Visa appconfusion

Featured Replies

I intend coming to LOS in March to attend a TEFL course and then hopefully work!

I intend applying for the NON IMM B visa and have downloaded the form.

Near the top it asks for Purpose of Visit.......???any suggestions?

Because at the bottom there is a declaration before signing which Says I declare the purpose of my visit to thailand is for pleasure only, and in no case will I engage in any professional

activity. (Or words to this effect) While I thoroughly agree with the pleasure part I don't want to get red tape hassle by

putting in the wrong thing. it seems the wrong declaration but the form is a general form where you tick a box as to what type of visa you require. Again any suggestions??

BTW has anyone had any attempt at getting Multiple trip visas from Royal Thai consulate in Glasgow (London will not accept postal apps)

Thanks

Glasgow should be able to issue you a multiple entry. The ' declaration ' particularly refers to tourists. You can sign away.

Be a  bit creative and bring a business letter with you (se example letter on thaivisa.com). Purpose of visit is Business...and stick to that on all forms thereafter.
