Never enough in budget Thai accomodation, as you well know. Thanks for translating.

Wall Hook --

Towel Rail --

Shower Head Holder (usually broken or wonky) --

I can help with one of these:

towel rack = ราวแขวนผ้าเช็ดตัว raao kwean paa chet dtua

shower, as you probably know, is ฝักบัว fak bua so you could probably use that or something like ที่วางฝักบัว tii waang faา bua

On a similar note, I seem to remember my gf referring to the toilet spray once as ที่กดน้ำ tii got naam that one is bound to come in handy.

Wall hook : I only know the Isaan word for it Koh Goh (both o's like in 'lock')

Shower Head Holder (usually broken or wonky) --

hua bua ab nam (Bua or lotus fruit is used for shower heads and the heads on watering cans). However, when it's broken, just take the thing down to the reception :o

I like sutnyod's post, and would like to modify it slightly.

Wall hook: ขอแขวนเสื้อ Koh kwaen Suea or "hook to hang cloth (on)". It will be clear to any Thai listener.

ที่ยึดฝักบัวอาบน้ำ Tee Yued Fak Bua Aab Bua or "Shower Head Holder". I clarify the shower head as "ฝักบัวอาบน้ำ" instead of just "ฝักบัว" because "ฝักบัว" has 2 meanings. One means lotus stem while another means shower head.

I agree with withnail's useage of:

towel rack = ราวแขวนผ้าเช็ดตัว raao kwaen paa chet dtua

ขอแขวนเสื้อ

Is the first word really a hononym with 'ขอ' 'ask for'; 'could I (have)...' or is there a tone mark missing?

homonym. same word: multiple meanings.
