My future wife has been diagnosed with moderate-stage endometriosis. Two Thai doctors, one at Samitvej and the other at Phyathai 2, have recommended laporascopic surgery, a minimally invasive (but still a bit nerve-racking) abdominal thing where they get at and zap the stuff that's causing problems. Shouldn't be in hospital for more then a night or two, they say.

I was wondering if anyone out there has had personal experience with this in Bangkok, can recommend a particular hospital or surgeon, or has any other topical advice that might be helpful.

This is a very specific issue and a very personal one, so please keep it on topic. :o

I think we're doing quite well getting on top of this and we think we'll have the surgery done at Phyathai 2 for 58,000 baht a couple weekends from now.

Thanks in advance for any potential input.

Cheers
