Thailands number 1 forum improves by leaps and bounds since Thaiger takeover.
And some of us remember when you were on patrol keeping tourists safe. The local criminal element scurried away as you marched by, clearing Bangla of the hooligans and touts who lay in wait of the unsuspecting farangs. And many a foreign lout awash in the devil's juice was set straight by your presence. A proper beacon of English propriety, you were. Sometimes your patrol took you into the darkest recesses of human debauchery in the "Paradise" strip. Never judging the depraved hedonists who filled the area, you chose instead to assist all with your resolve, even when you were approached with urgent requests for directions to the nearest toilet. One night I saw you help a self professed starving Australian woman when you told her where to find the Burger King. It was a remarkable intervention, and you pointed with great gusto. Your self discipline must have been great as she was a vision of beauty with her rose tattoo on her shoulder, and butterfly tattoo on her ham hock of a thigh. I doubt that many an Englishman could have resisted the exotic beguiling beauty of the maiden of Oz. So many people have come and gone. And so many have vaporized as their money ran out and they were forced to return to the UK or Europe, blaming everyone else for their poor financial planning and poor decisions in life. Yes it has been an exciting time and you were a part of it. You made it happen!!! -

Europe remains the key to Britain’s future economic success
Maybe in time Asian financial centres will gain at London's expense but, in the short/medium term, London's position as the world's second most important financial centre looks reasonably secure. -
