I thought I would watch some DVD's the other night on the Computer: But the DVD is not picking up the Sound track ?

I can see the Movie okay in Windows movie player but there is no sound :

I have checked on system hardware and checked drivers for latest updates there are no faults shown :

Is it a Codec problem ?

If your computer is not an laptop but an desktop, check the Audio cable from the DVD drive is connected to the mobo, its a small 4 pin cable!

That could be a problem because some DVD's using for Audio a channel which is running over that port!

Otherwise try a different Player as suggested.

Try a different program. I have a few on my pc.

VLC

Media player classic

Try these and see if you have anymore problems.
