The Condominium Act

Featured Replies

One of the core Thai Laws that governs freehold property ownership in Thailand is enshrined in

The Condominium Act B.E 2522 (1979) with obviously amendments, it is 'a living document'.

In a sense this is such an important topic I think it should be pinned because it affects so many of us. I can make a start by pointing at the following links:

http://www.samuiforsale.com/Condominium_Act_BE2522.htm

for the original act and

http://www.dol.go.th/low_ministry/commandm...do_no3_2542.htm

For the amendments I know of. However this is not my area of expertise and I note donx and Khun Bob have looked more extensively at this.

Is this an area worth exploring and have I got the title of the thread right?
