How To Access A Blocked Site?

Featured Replies

Hi, I have tried accessing www.stockbrokers.barclays.co.uk through my TT&T adsl connection but with no luck.

Other UK sites and sites within Thailand load no problem at all.

Another friend also on TT&T has the same problem.

As this is the online sharedealing site I like to use it's a real pain having this site blocked.

I have tried using a proxy server this evening but the dealing functionality is lost.

I am a novice as far as proxies are concerned so has anyone any ideas for a solution to the blocked site.

Thanks for reading, Andy.

No problem at TRUE in Samut Prakarn. Site is opening completly.

OP what do you see on screen? What leads you to believe the site is specifically blocked as opposed to dropping out given TT&T troublesome connexion profile.

Regards

PS Page loads on True, BKK, ADSL OpenDNS

Works fine on TOT too. Try opendns.org .. maybe just a problem with the DNS server?

BTW Talking about blocked sites and proxy servers .... I guess the mods are asleep .... :o

We do not allow discussions of proxies or other methods of bypassing government blocking of websites.
