Hi guys,

I'm arriving in BKK in a few days, then leaving for Vietnam in two weeks or so. I was planning to get a visa on arrival (I'm Canadian) -- but I heard they've gotten more stringent about proof of onward travel these days.

I have an e-ticket (basically I have the printout of a confirmation email) from Bangkok Airways that shows I'm leaving the

country in under 30 days after landing at the airport -- will this be acceptable as proof of onward travel for Thai immigration at the BKK airport? Will it likely be acceptable as proof for my airline? (Japan airlines)

thank you, -CG

You'll be sweet with an E-ticket. Once you get to the immigration section at Suvarnabhumi airport they'll probably not check any documents, except your passport. And then they'll wave you on through..

Not a problem, most travellers only use etickets nowadays.

Naka.
