Spares For Vw Beetles?

Featured Replies

i'm working on a 1966 vw beetle, although its in very nice condition i need to find some parts for it.

does anybody know where i can find spares, scrap heaps etc.

there is a big beetle following here, there must be shops somewhere.

thanks in advance. :o

There is a (VW) repair shop in Nonthaburi they seem to do everything up major body rebuilds.

When heading to Bang Bua Thong just before you go over the Pra Nung Glau Bridge ( which crosses the river of course) on the RH side! This means you have to veer left after the main intersection and actually do a U turn which takes under the entry to the bridge and heads you back towards town "the VW repair shop is now on your left hand side.

Hope this helps.

in Bangkok: VW repair shop on Phathanakarn Soi 30.

thanks for your help

stick a porshe engine in it :o

the small industrial estate just past pattaya orphanage makes up body panels, not sure if they could do beetle wings though.

If you need Instruments - Speedometer, Tachometer etc., PM me, we are Distributors for VDO Kienzle and can offer original equipment from the year of manufacture.

I went with my friend to Bangkok last year to buy a beetle for his wife...It was an incredible garage, with about 20 refurbushed models, they did an excellent job..and to this day my friend is very happy with the car. Although I can not remember where the place is, I could get the address and phone number if interested?

I though u'd be working on a Capri dave not a Beetle!!!
