just wondered if anyone has used the online immigration service and what results they got.

I just used it to make an appointment for an extension of temporary stay. Filled out the form and printed it already for handing in. Asked for an appointment tomorrow.. it did say that it usually takes one business day so maybe I wont get my appointment in time.

I am hoping I get an appointment and I dont have to queue up - as it mentions a counter number for the appointment..

any views or this ?

will be handy if I just turn up and am straight in.

Well I've just sent off (e-mail) the re-entry permit application. Have done exactly what the site says. Persume that I will sign the form there. Am going Friday..here's hoping its quick

Well I did..went mid morning today...straight to counter No7 ..the left window is for on-line applications...handed in a signed completed copy of what I e-mailed them on wednesday, one photo, passport and 1000Baht. Think less than five minutes later handed back pasport with new re-entry visa and receipt for 100Baht...a result or what.

I just 'googled' bangkok immigration..anyway www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/en/base.php give you the web site..look at featured service on the right Hand Side
