Sorry I haven't updated in a while.

In brief, since I got engaged:

*The ring's eleven diamonds may not in fact be 18k each. I think I was just being overenthusiastic. But Diamonds they are nonetheless.

*I've not been around here much cos I'm basically exhausted. I had more energy when I was drunk all the time and working 15 hours. Now I still work 15 hours but I'm rarely drunk. Just exhausted. Might be age.

Been engaged for three months now. Other than being dragged around wedding fairs every couple of weekends, not too much has changed yet. We still have some sporadic but very good sex (we both work hard, and differing hours) and she doesn't get on my case too much. Yeah... I'm still happy, and I don't have any intention of changin my mind. She's right for me. (until it all goes wrong, but let's hope that doesn't happen.)

Thaddy, Massive congrats. I'm not sure who you're gettin' married to, cos the last I read ( a while back, now) you were tentatively getting involved with a waitress and having issues with a German expat...

Not only do I intend to be a faithful loving husband and futur father, but I'm going a step further: I'm presently signing up to finish my High Schooling, with the intention of getting a degree thereafter.

It's all gone tits-up, basically.

(But Shh.... Don't tell anyone: My real intention is to be in a more financially secure situation so I can AFFORD my rock'n'rolling ways again in the future. Long term planning )

anyway, gotta go and watch four world champions battle it out in the middle-east, now.

Yeah, that sounds like what I have went through, family school, and marching on little sleep and lot of coffee. I wish you the best!

To save you reading the whole thing mate...... the waitress turned out to be 16, so I canned it and married the German blokes widow instead.
