Does anyone know of reasonable places to stay on or near the coast between Trang and Satun?

I'm planning on a couple of nights over New Year, and there'll be two young families with a car. I'm just looking for a family-friendly place that's quiet and laid-back. I'm not looking for places on the main islands.

Not much happening on the Krabi forum have a look at Koh Sukorn, the place is great for families with young children. Also when going to an island the prices for food and drinks will be expensive compared to the mainland!! enjoy....
